We visited the newly opened tabets.bakery at pacificepping for our Sunday brekkie, and it truly made our morning so special. The aroma of freshly baked goods hit us the moment we walked in! So warm, inviting, and impossible to resist. The spread was incredible from their perfectly baked Lebanese pizzas and pies to the most divine lehmi, zaatar, and cheese combinations that tasted just like home. The coffee was rich and smooth, the perfect match to the fresh-from-the-oven delights. The vibe is cozy yet modern, and the team welcomed us with genuine smiles. You can feel the love and passion behind every dish. My family loved sharing everything, and honestly, we didn’t want breakfast to end! Tabet’s Bakery is nothing short of awesome I can’t think of a better spot in all of Melbourne for a small business that runs purely on love . It’s a beautiful, family-run bakery that proudly keeps the Lebanese tradition alive through every bite. The kids absolutely loved the pizzas packed with flavour and super fresh! The kunafah was the perfect sweet treat to finish off our meal. Everything was spot on, fresh, and so tasty. Highly recommend this gem for a quick, satisfying meal or a cozy family brekkie!
Fantastic experience at Tabet. I visited with my mother and we both loved it. The food was excellent and the service genuinely friendly. They happily customised my pizza exactly the way I wanted it, which I really appreciated. The sweets were delicious, not overly sugary, and felt refreshingly light and balanced. I was especially impressed by Chris, the younger son of the owner. He was extremely helpful, communicated clearly, and showed outstanding customer service skills. You can tell this place really cares about quality and people. Highly recommended.
The food here is great. Coffee could be better but the real let down is their customer service. The lady who served us had such a bad attitude and felt completely uninterested to take the order with no smile and a bad mood. At one point I felt like not to order and walk away. Even when she bought our food to the table and we thanked her, she just ignored and turned away with no response.
Shockingly Bad and Completely Unacceptable Tabet’s Bakery in Pacific Epping served us one of the worst manoush I’ve ever seen. What we received was an insult to anyone who actually knows what cheese and za’atar are supposed to taste like. The photo says everything: the dough is burnt, dried out, and looks like it was reheated for the tenth time. The cheese is a disaster — rubbery, plasticky, and completely unappetizing, almost like melted plastic stuck on top of a burnt base. Even the za’atar looks lifeless and overcooked. Nothing about it resembles fresh bakery food. The taste was even worse than the appearance. Burnt dough, plastic-tasting cheese, and a reheated flavour that makes you wonder why a bakery would serve something this careless. It felt like they didn’t even bother to try. For a place that calls itself a bakery, this is embarrassing. Serving food in this condition shows zero pride, zero quality control, and zero respect for customers. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, and I definitely won’t be wasting my money there again.
This is a must try if your in the area. Exceptional service from the team especially Chris. You will not be disappointed. The food is traditional Lebanese cooking. The kids loved the pizza and the baklava.
Came here for breakfast on their grand opening and it was buzzing! The atmosphere was amazing, the Lebanese manoush and breakfast were absolutely delicious and the coffee was top-notch. Carlos the owner, personally came over to introduce himself and made sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommend!
Food - 10/10 Service - 20/10 Atmosphere - Busy, casual dining Food here is absolutely fresh, clean and very tasty. If you're looking for a light meal in between your weekend grocery shopping, this is THE place! We enjoy the pies and zaatar bread so much x Our order took longer than usual, asked at the counter and Chris himself came to check-in. He brought a chicken pie with him, the level of customer service haven't experienced in a while! We're regulars at Stables Mill Park and will come to this outlet more frequently as it's more convenient for us. Highly recommend supporting this small business over big chains! This review would've been the same even without the extra chicken pie, but of course we enjoyed it! Try their pistachio and Cashew peanut baklava - both amazingly delicious, but the cashew peanut always surprises me how delicious it is! 😋
