Farmer's Bakehouse

📍 Wedding bakeries in Dubbo

7.4

Farmer’s Bakehouse in Dubbo offers a welcoming atmosphere for wedding celebrations and everyday treats, blending classic and creative baking with a focus on quality. Their pastries, including a uniquely styled vanilla slice and well-received Mexican pie, showcase attention to detail, though some may prefer traditional finishes. The bakery’s flaky croissants and custom cakes consistently earn praise for their taste and presentation.

While the café experience varies—with standout coffee and a cozy setting—some dishes occasionally fall short in clarity or consistency. Packaging improvements and clearer menu descriptions could enhance the overall service. Despite minor inconsistencies, Farmer’s Bakehouse remains a solid choice for both special occasions and daily indulgence.

Nice bakery Clean Vanilla slice had a slight twist, with cream icing instead of the traditional white fondant icing. I prefer the traditional fondant icing. The custard center was ok, not as velvety as others. Mexican pie was good all round. Croissant looked pretty good. Nice and flaky but I thought the flavour profile wasn’t as good as others. I prefer it to be a little more sweet. But overall a good bakery.

We bought two birthday cakes and they were amazing. I will definitely get them through Farmbake in the future. The only disappointing thing was their cake boxes. Because they used flimsy boxes they flopped in on the cake and took some of the icing off as you can see in the photo. Such a shame as they were such yummy cakes.

I bought a delicious pie and a vanilla slice Sadly my vanilla slice was shoved in a bag and handed to me and I got to my destination and it was stuck to the bag. Bit annoying. Why wasn’t it put in a small container and not a paper bag? Usually you guys do great food. Can’t say I’m happy with my slice hence the rating

Great coffee and nice atmosphere but not good food experience. Ordered scrambled eggs but when they came was smothered in cheese , which was NOT stated in the menu. Then was told by the cook ‘well we make it with cheese so you have to tell us if you don’t want it’. You have an obligation to tell your customers what they are getting! Even just state ‘cheesy scrambled eggs’
