Not sure what all the fuss is about. Didn't used phyllo, instead seems to use a pre bought puff pastry sheet. Sugar syrup instead of honey, pistachio only used to garnish the edges, and not present inside the baklava itself. The only thing remotely traditional about it was it was made the same year baklava was invented and has been sitting in the display ever since. Took a bit of each of the three flavours, then through the rest out. Supermarkets carry better baklava.
Secret hidden GEM! Blink and you'll miss it. Walk down the driveaway and follow the signs and you'll find paradise. Was on the hunt for a Cheese and Bacon Roll but fell for the Tasho Bukky. YUM! The lovely gentleman who looked after me threw in a coconut Baklava as well! I'll be back for a coffee! What a treat
Tried it during Wollongong Eat Street. Baklava is amazing! The lovely gentleman also made me try Turkish Delight as a freebie.
The coconut baklava is delicious!
