Deliciously affordable pastries and cakes, make in the traditional style. Included a lot of seasonal favourites, freshly baked that can sometimes be hard to find. So cute, colourful and you could buy so many quite easily. My personal favourite were the Walnut cakes, so delicious 👏👏👏

Dragon Pastry offers a good selection of traditional Chinese pastries and cakes, and some items are quite tasty — the egg tarts and pineapple buns were fresh and nicely made. However, the overall experience was a bit mixed. A few pastries felt a little dry, and service could be friendlier and more attentive. The shop can get quite busy, which affects the wait time and freshness of some items. It’s a decent spot for a quick snack or takeaway, but there’s room for improvement in consistency and service.

First time and also the last time visit. Very disappointed with food. The so called shaving ice was actually a big ice block which was not breakable and too hard to enjoy. The taro cubes were ice cold and hard inside, not as soft as you would expect from a similar dessert. Not to mention the flys hovering above the pastry trays. You can easily find other better shops in Chatswood.

My daughter was excited by all the colourful pastries so we bought a box of random ones. My favourite was the pineapple pastry and the cream grape crisp. The durian puff could do with more durian flavour and the pastry could be puffier. The Portuguese tart was below average as the egg custard had the scrambled eggs texture.

I literally had one spoonful and left. The sweet soup still had undissolved powder, which was unpleasant. Paid $9 for this rubbish. They claimed it was authentic with real ingredients, but the only thing real seems to be the powdered mix they used. Now that I have thought about it, I should have confronted them and asked for a refund.

Pastry was super good. Black sesame soup is kind of mid, a bit watery.
