Honeys Patisserie

You’d be hard pressed to find a better bakery, high quality goods, really interesting cakes, quite a few I’d never seen before. The custard tart and snot block were exceptional. Very impressed.

Absolute best Patisserie around, The quality and size of both the pastries and pies are fantastic! And everything is reasonably priced. So happy I can continue to get fat with Honey's, I actually started to lose weight when you shut shop but not anymore!

I am someone who has an unfortunate number of allergies. Two of them being lactose and maize.I usually try to go for vegan options because of this, but I find they have maize in them (like gluten free) or are plant based. Which is fine, I just dont like the taste of a lot of plant based products. Many of them dont taste like the orginial, such as chocolate. So I find I am the one person at every get together, not having dessert or birthday cake at every celebration. As a sweet tooth this is hard. I didnt always have these allergies, they have gotten worse as I have gotten older. So when I went to get coffee for myself and hubby today at honeys I had no plans to buy anything else. But I got curious they had vegan options in cases near the register. I asked, yes dairy free, but did they have maize.... the baker himself checked the packet, no maize. I could have it. I am embarassed to say I cried happy tears there in the shop but I bought an apple cinamon roll and took it home to try. It tasted amazing like the real thing like its not vegan, words cannot explain how happy that has made me, they had other vegan options too. I will be returning to try them out, and hopefully not cry and embarass myself next time.

What have you done?! We're not going to be able to eat a sausage roll ever again unless its from Honeys. Absolutely amazing! Pastries were equally as drool worthy and I loved the cheeky names
