The best cake shop in town! They made my husband’s birthday cake so beautifully, it looked perfect and tasted even better. Honestly, I haven’t had such a soft and delicious cake in a long time. Keep up the amazing work, team!

I visited this shop today to order a birthday cake for my son's celebration this Saturday. I was told they were "too booked" and could not take my order. While I was disappointed, I understand that small businesses can get busy. However, while I was still in the store, another gentleman entered and spoke to the staff in Hindi. They proceeded to take his order without any issue. I immediately approached the staff again and asked why they could take his order but not mine. I asked directly if it was because I was not from their country. I received no proper explanation, only evasion. My family and I left feeling humiliated and deeply disappointed. It is one thing to be fully booked; it is another to witness clear favoritism and what appears to be discrimination based on language or nationality. I cannot in good conscience recommend this shop to anyone. There are plenty of other amazing bakeries in the area that will treat all customers with equal respect. Date of experience: 27.08.25

The ONLY place to get incredible gluten free cakes!!! I have ordered twice now from Canberra Cale Place and both times we have been asked "Are you sure this is gluten free?!?!" Terrific quality, price and service.

We used Canberra Cake Place for a custom cake based on an inspiration image we provided. They replicated the cake and at a great price. Also, the chocolate cake base was a hit at the party with everyone loving the flavour. We had some communication issues at the start but we overcame that with overall great service in the end.
