Festival Hire

I hired a coffee percolator from Festivalhire and had a really disappointing experience. The percolator wasn’t working, the water wasn’t coming up through the stem so I called them to let them know. Instead of helping, the staff were rude and dismissive. When I returned the item and explained the issue, I was accused of not assembling it properly. They told me they’d "have to check it first" before issuing a refund and would call me the next day. It’s now been a week with no follow up at all. I’m not worried about the $50 rental fee. keep it. I just want to make it clear that the percolator is faulty. This issue cost me over $1,000 at an event because I had to refund my customers, yet all they seemed to care about was the $50 hire fee. This kind of service damages your business reputation far more than admitting a fault and supporting your customers. I’m sharing this so others don’t go through the same experience.

Festival Hire was contract to install marquees, flooring, grandstands, fencing, tables, chairs and decor at various venues for the Special Olympics National Games. Shane, Tracy and their team went above and beyond to deliver despite challenges with inclement weather and the level of customer service was exceptional.
