Sydney Party Shop

I am another customer that experienced balloons deflating overnight. Purchased balloons on Saturday and mentioned they were going to be used for a party on Sunday, the lady at the counter said this would require a gel at a cost of $5 extra to ensure the balloons don’t deflate. Alas, the next day by around lunch the balloons were half deflated. The travel from the store to my house is less than five minuets and the balloons were stored in a cooled room at home. The service was a bit abrupt as well which was a shame as many customers have noted this is suppose to be a place that sells joy.

I was so amazed as to how very helpful the staff at the Sydney Party Shop were. I was totally out of my depth with what I needed for an 80th birthday, fussy female. Within 15 minutes I was walking out the door with bundle of tasteful things ready for the function. They suggested things I hadn’t even thought of. I will be back, only place to go in my humble opinion……best thing CHEAP!

I want to thank the team at Sydney party shop!! They were so helpful in assisting me get everything for my daughters birthday. From the cake, streamers wrapping paper and all the amazing lollies. There was no need to go to any other shop as they help me arrange and prepare everything. If you are looking to arrange your next party then I would highly recommend speaking to the wonderful staff members.

We have been going to Bexley Party Shop for years and we will unfortunately never be going there again. We ordered two balloons a 60. When putting in the order a week prior we were advised they would be closed on the Sunday (the day we needed the balloons) so we organised to pick them up on the Saturday. When ordering we said a 3pm pick up time however never advised that there was a time constraint on pickup and it needed to be on the dot. On the Saturday we arrived to pick up the balloons at 1:30pm as plans had changed for the day. First of all when I walked into the shop I was ignored for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged by staff and when acknowledged and advised I was there abit early for the pick up I was told it would be a 45 minute wait (FOR TWO BALOONS), and the lady was rolling her eyes during this interaction, mind you I paid close to $80 for these balloons which was ridiculous when I looked elsewhere the price was no where near that much so I felt so ripped off. I then asked for a refund due to the wait, as although I was totally aware I was a little early for pickup I did not expect to be spoken to with the attitude I was greeted with and they said they could only provide a "store credit" which was totally useless considering I still needed to repurchase ballon’s elsewhere. In the end they ended up preparing the ballon’s after about 10 minutes and the ballon’s took not even 5 minutes to prepare. By the next morning on the Sunday, the 0 had also almost completely deflated which was the worst part of all after all that hassle and money. We will never return to bexley party shop
