Love Story Ceremonies

Jo was our celebrant for our recent wedding. We looked for a very long time to find a celebrant, they were all the same. We really wanted someone young, and a bit trendy as well. Jo is all of these things, she was so great to deal with from the get go, she helped us with every part, but was also not one bit pushy. She sorted our bridal party easily, and made sure the day ran smoothly, she even arranged with me colours, and matched her outfit beautifully to our colour themeing. We would recomment Jo 100%!!

Jo was absolutely amazing! She is a long time family friend of my husband’s family and that made it so much more special and personal to have her marry us! She made everything a dream, it was all just so easy. Weddings can feel very overwhelming and she definitely took the stress out of it for me. Our wedding itself was so incredible and personalized just for us, we laughed and we cried, we just loved every second of it! We had the pleasure of having Jo as our wedding celebrant in Byron in November. Jo is professional and experienced, and has a beautiful, calm presence about her. She kept my husband and his groomsmen calm and relaxed before our ceremony and our guests loved her. Her style is the perfect balance of modern, sentimental and light-hearted which is exactly what we wanted for our day. We wanted a relaxed, happy vibe without any forced humour and over the top story telling and Jo absolutely nailed it. We couldn't recommend Jo enough! Jo was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, and always had an answer for our questions. Even with a pandemic changing things on us, she worked with us to keep us informed and on track. On the day, Jo was a calming influence and she conducted the ceremony perfectly. Jo seemed genuinely happy for us, and it was very reassuring to see her beaming at me when I looked towards her during the ceremony. It helped steady the stage-fright nerves, and allowed me to enjoy the moment a little more. It was obvious that this is not just a job to her, but her calling. I simply cannot recommend Jo, and Love Story Ceremonies, enough. She was perfect, and anyone would be lucky to have her officiate their wedding.

Jo is such a warm and vibrant celebrant! When we had to find a replacement celebrant last minute due to border closures - we got sent a list of available celebrants to pick. Jo stood out to us with her passion for being a celebrant, following in her fathers footsteps! When we met Jo, just a few days before our wedding, we made an instant connection and felt really comfortable with her. Jo truly blew us away with the ceremony she gave us. We didn’t have a typical ceremony because we got married in a Greek Orthodox Church first, however we still wanted a separate ceremony where we could say vows and have it be more personal. Jo did such an incredible job of making our ceremony unique to us and making it obvious why we were having the second ceremony. Jo had the perfect balance of sentimental, sincere and fun, capturing the seriousness of the commitment we made while making it such an upbeat celebration of our love. She went above and beyond, coming to our Church ceremony so that she could understand what we had done and ensure continuity between the two ceremonies. Nothing that Jo does is pre-canned: every aspect of our ceremony, Jo came up with to make it unique to us. We could not be happier that we found Jo and have had so many guests say it was genuinely the best ceremony they had been to! Jo is a fantastic celebrant, she really made an effort to know us, and our story and tailor a ceremony that was just right for us. Jo is friendly and she was so helpful throughout the planning process – if you or your fiancé are nervous about writing your own vows, fear not as Jo was there to help us both along the way. Even our guests were impressed by Jo, so many people commented that the ceremony was a perfect reflection of us as a couple.
