If you’re considering Jay Flood as your celebrant, our advice would be to book him straight away. Jay made our day so special in a way we didn’t even know we needed. From the moment we met him, he took charge so effortlessly - guiding us, telling us what would work, keeping everything moving and making us feel calm and excited at the same time. He was absolutely hilarious, warm, charming and perfectly timed. He had everyone laughing in all the right places and tearing up in the next moment. Our ceremony felt so personal and so beautiful, and Jay delivered it with the kind of energy that made it feel like he’d known us for years. Our guests kept coming up to us afterwards saying, ‘Your celebrant was amazing,’ which only confirmed what we already felt. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. Jay set the tone for the entire day, and we’re still talking about how lucky we were to have him.

What can I say — Jay was perfect for our ceremony. We wanted something relaxed and funny, but still sentimental, and that’s exactly what he delivered. He was hilarious, heartfelt, and had this amazing way of making everyone feel completely at ease. You could genuinely feel the whole atmosphere shift as Jay worked his magic. So many of our guests raved about him afterwards! Meeting Jay felt like catching up with an old friend (even though we’d never met!), and he made all the legal stuff feel so easy and stress-free. Having him as our celebrant was one of the best decisions we made.

We had the honor of having Jay as our wedding celebrant in November. He was incredibly friendly, made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, and added the perfect touch of humor. So many of our guests commented on how enjoyable the ceremony was. We couldn't recommend Jay more!

Jay was the celebrant at our elopement on the beach at Castaways (Noosa) in January 2026. He expertly organised all of the legal stuff without us having to bother about it and then provided a great guide for the flow of the ceremony, as well as some great ideas for vows etc. The ceremony itself was flawless in execution. He instilled a relaxed and comforting vibe in both of us, as if he was taking us on a pleasant journey. He organised the music, which we picked, and it too was positioned in the ceremony flawlessly. II would have zero hesitation in recommending Jay for your elopement or small scale wedding. Professional, respectful and relaxed in equal parts. It would be a 6 star rating if there was an option. Jay was an amazing celebrant for our special day. The ceremony felt so relaxed and comfortable through Jay’s conversational style and laidback nature.
