Fusion Martial Arts

This is the best martial arts school ever for my kid! My child tried several martial arts schools last year and none seemed to go well with him until he tried Fusion Martial Arts school here at Yarraville! Instructors are very professional, passionate, friendly and great with kids! They tailored their classes for all ages especially younger children! My kid only talks the best about this school and instructors and always look forward to coming to classes! I would highly recommend any parents thinking to get their kids to learn martial arts! This school helps kids and teens and adults to focus, discipline and definitely not only just a hobby or sport but a living passion for life! Come and try it and you won’t regret it!

I have attended Fusion Martial Arts with my son for the past year and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Con, the owner and head coach, is exceptional in his coaching style, connecting with the children and helping them grow not only in their martial arts skills but also in confidence and commitment. My son started in the Mini Rangers program and has since transitioned into Junior Taekwondo, attending classes twice per week. Having trained at Fusion doing BJJ for several months now I can confirm that it is a fantastic and welcoming club suitable for anyone. Previously I have trained martial arts extensively in a variety of disciplines and have returned to learn once more. I was a little nervous of getting back into BJJ but trusted in the recommendation of Fusion Martial Arts by a friend. My fellow practitioners and the trainers have been great to train with and bring out the best in me on the mats. Everyone is friendly and easy to train with which makes things easier. I definitely recommend Fusion to anyone looking to begin or return to martial arts.

My son has been training with Con and the team at Fusion for 5 years now and he loves it. Con is technically superb and his training is based on very strong values: first and foremost he engages his students really well and makes training fun because they will not persist with something they don’t enjoy. He keeps them challenged and motivated, always emphasizing respect, perseverance, hard work and doing things right. His program progressively increases the challenge level and along the way the recognition the students get and their pride in their achievements is wonderful to see. Great school, highly recommend it.

Our two kids did mini rangers, the older to blue belt before we moved. Con is outstanding with young children. We spoke about the balance between fun and a slight bit of learning some discipline. We felt he got the balance just right - many martial arts instructors are too strict with young kids and they leave. There is a real community vibe at Fusion and the older students stick around to help the younger ones.

I have been taking my son to the mini-rangers sessions at yarraville three times a week for some time now. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The team at Fusion MA were very welcoming of our family as total newbies to martial arts. The instructors are professional, experienced and know how to teach kids and I have seen my son's confidence improve as a result of his experience here. I really recommend trying it out.
