Music Under the Stars organised by Don Russell Performing Arts featured Aquila ensemble and the solo singer Sophie. It’s was a high quality performance and highly entertaining. The venue at The Homestead was an ideal out door venue for the concert. We would like to attend more events at the venue.
Our family attended the Rising Stars show on Sunday. The venue was completely booked out and I desperately needed a ticket. The ladies at the box office were so very kind. I spoke to Ella on the phone and dealt with Julie in person to try and secure a ticket. Gosh, what lovely ladies. Thank you much for being so kind and accommodating, you made my day!
Saw 2 brilliant Aussie artists at this venue last Thursday . Great atmosphere, great sound, really lovely staff. such talented musicians. Thanks for bringing them to Gosnells . Truly had an amazing evening. Look out for Rene LeFeuvre. What a talented young musician. True treasure.
Saw Dragged Through The Desert last night at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre. What an excellent show. We laughed, sang, clapped and had a blast. Thank you for such an entertaining evening. The venue was excellent as well.
Good venue for small to middle scale social and musical events. In-house AV system is fabulous!
Went to watch Xanadu last Friday. The show was amazing and the venue is great too. Friendly staff, lots of car park, drinks were pretty good too. Had a very happy night there. Thank you.
Had the absolute pleasure to attend the "Australian Baroque Space Music" and saw this wondrous experience at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre in Thornlie. Australian Baroque are truly world 🌍 class music players. Really appreciate their aim "to build significant and long lasting ties with both regional and metropolitan communities, performing in galleries, schools, museums, Men’s Sheds, churches, cafes and town halls". The Australian Baroque music was interspersed with fascinating details about outer space. Dr Antony Brian shared his wealth of knowledge of outer space with many, many photos of the Sun, Moon, planets, stars and galaxies. The music, information and photography was an enjoyable experience. Really appreciated the Q & A session after the show too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 👍
