Had my hair done this morning by Yasmin. Such a lovely experience and I absolutely love how she did my hair. I haven’t been to another hairdresser in 15 years and was nervous. Very very happy, will definitely be back. The salon is beautiful too.

Got my hair blow dried with Beachy Waves for a friends wedding back in February and I absolutely loved the end result. Belinda was lovely and styled my hair exactly to brief after showing her a picture of what look I was after with an extra request of a touch more volume. The salon had a nice beachy relaxed vibe and the R&C products used smelt great. Best of all I received lots of compliments on my hair at the wedding. I will definitely head here again if attending event or staying down the Peninsula. Thanks Belinda!

Typically going to a hairdresser is a pleasant experience for me, but today was more close to torture. I booked in for a blow wave today as my usual hairdresser is closed on Saturdays, but in the future I’d rather just not get my hair done at all. Hairdresser who did my hair was incredibly brutal on my scalp and couldn’t even be friendly. While washing my hair she was incredibly rough and kept harshly yanking on my hair so I couldn’t relax at all. And when it came to brushing my hair, she used a paddle brush…ON CURLY HAIR and ripped a clump of hair out on it…would love to know if she’s properly trained or not, cause you absolutely don’t do that. The only relief I had from my hair being yanked and pulled was when she was straightening it with the iron. Going and getting your hair done should be an enjoyable experience, no one should have to go through what I went through and pay 90 dollars for the privilege of suffering for 45 minutes. There’s quite a few hairdressers in Mornington, I strongly suggest going somewhere else.

I had Madi do a fabulous job of by hair a couple weeks ago before my hens weekend. She introduced me to doing "twisty curls" and my curls lasted the entire weekend which was a miracle. Cannot recommend enough x

After being unhappy with the end result walking out of countless salons when asking for a volume blow wave, I was (excuse the pun) BLOWN AWAY, with my experience at Blow Kulture. Specialising in blow waves but also provides your standard cut/colour menu. Super easy to book online. The actual salon is next level gorgeous - Luxe, expensive, boho is the vibe. I had Madi who was lovely but even better than being nice: she listened to exactly what I was after and delivered on it. Thank you Madi! I walked away with a clean, shiny, voluptuous blow wave. They use a hot rollers and a leave-round-brushes-in-your-hair to set technique. Works 100x better for volume than a regular blow dry then a ghd style. The products they stock/use are quality - R+Co & Redken. On the pricier side for a blow wave but given the location in Mornington, within what you would expect to pay. Overall, so glad I found this gem & will be back for every occasion I need great hair or maybe even just for the great scalp massage at the basin.

Belinda did the most amazing blow wave and style! Such a cool place, styling of the furniture and interior gorgeous and your hair is perfect when you leave! Definitely will be going back!

Excellent service, very accommodating and understanding when I had my small tackers along with me (though I'm sure next time I'll get along sans children and enjoy a drink maybe ;-)) Really beautifully set up and friendly staff and vibes. Highly recommend!
