Mecca Cosmetica Miranda

This week I visited Mecca Cosmetica Miranda looking for help with my make-up application which looked heavy & pale. I was hoping to achieve a more fresh, dewy look. I was greeted by Kerrie Gentle who took the time to show me a new makeup routine using Primer, Concealer, Foundation, Cream Rouge, a light touch of powder, finishing with a Setting spray. The result was amazing- a beautiful dewy finish that completely transformed my look! Kerrie's holistic approach to skincare and makeup, her expert colour selection and attention to detail were exceptional. I was amazed at what I learnt & loved the result so much, I purchased every product she used !! I walked out of Mecca feeling like I had a brand-new face. I had such a lovely experience being served by Mackenzie at Mecca Cosmetica Miranda. I went in looking for a Christmas gift and she was immediately welcoming, attentive, and incredibly on the ball. I was unsure what to choose, and she thoughtfully recommended one of her favourite scents, which was absolutely perfect for the gift. When the item turned out to be out of stock, she went above and beyond - taking down my details and personally tracking it down so it was ready for me later that same day. She wrapped it beautifully and made the whole experience feel effortless. Mackenzie has such a great presence, is very knowledgeable, and truly excellent at her job. I had my makeup done by Olivia today and I was so impressed with my experience! As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, I was a little nervous as I still wanted to look like myself and just wanted a natural look. Liv was so lovely and listened to everything I was after. She did a beautiful job of my makeup!! Added bonus that the cost of the service is redeemable on any products you like. Thank you so much!!

Soooo I visited Mecca Cosmetica Miranda in the week leading up to Christmas and wanted to give some honest feedback. I spent close to $300 and while the staff were polite I felt a bit overlooked. Multiple team members spent a lot of time assisting another customer near the counter, while I was waiting nearby without much acknowledgment. In the end, that customer didn’t make a purchase, and I felt a little invisible despite being ready to buy. When I got home, I also realised the gift wrapping wasn’t clearly labelled, so I couldn’t tell which products were in which boxes. It would’ve been helpful if this was explained or offered at the time especially during the busy Christmas period.I understand it’s an intense time of year and retail gets hectic, but a bit more balance in how attention is shared and clearer communication would really improve the experience. I would’ve happily spent more time and money if I’d felt a little more supported.

Went in needing foundation, concealer & primer. Ready to spend around $400. I slowly walked around the whole store & even stood in the store for a good few minutes talking to my husband. No staff approached me once. I even walked past two girls who were staff standing at the back of the store chatting to each other. No smile, no recognition, no "Can we help you?", not even a look. Incredible! They weren't even doing anything. Just chatting to each other. Not only rude but zero service. I went to David Jones and always will.

Had a lesson with Olivia yesterday and she is just amazing! She knows her products she knows her shades she knows what works best with what. Listen to everything she says! The compliments I had over my makeup was crazy! I will definitely be back

I came in to get a foundation and unfortunately the brand is no longer sold at Mecca but Kerrie went above and beyond to help me and showed me how to use a range of products. I ended up buying more today than I ever have and that’s because of how helpful Kerrie is. She is an absolite asset to Mecca and made my day!
