We visited the Myer Christmas Window this year and were really impressed. The Christmas theme built entirely with LEGO blocks was creative, detailed, and truly magical to look at. Myer has been putting together these windows for around 70 years, and once again they’ve delivered something wonderful and memorable. It’s the kind of display that gives children a genuinely joyful experience every year. We also enjoyed the Christmas Playland inside, which had lots of free activities for kids. It added even more fun to the visit and made the whole outing feel festive and family-friendly. Overall, another fantastic Christmas tradition from Myer. Highly recommended for families looking to get into the holiday spirit.
The Myer Christmas windows are a must-see every holiday season. The themes are always creative and magical, with incredible attention to detail. A beautiful tradition that never disappoints!
Amazing store that caters or all. Check out the Lego Christmas windows.. Hamish Blake narrates each one. Little kids will love it. Night display with lights etc is also a fun experience.
We loved the Lego themed Christmas windows this year. With two Lego enthusiastic children (5yrs & 3yrs) it was a no brainer to come along and see. HOWEVER we were very disappointed in missing out on the Christmas Legoland. Whilst the website stated it would beset up until 11th Jan, when we went along on 31st December it was all packed up. We left with 2 children in tears. I rang Myer to leave feedback but wasn’t super impressed with their response.
Visited Myer Melbourne during their mid-season sale and it was a great shopping experience. The discounts were really good and there were plenty of items to choose from. The sales attendants were also very helpful and friendly, which made shopping easier. The only downside was that there were no push carts or shopping baskets available, which made it a bit inconvenient when carrying several items. Overall, still a good place to shop, especially during sale season
I had a very upsetting experience at this store. I was the first person in line at the checkout counter, but the staff member Grace completely ignored me. She intentionally avoided eye contact and looked directly at the customer behind me, appearing ready to serve them instead. It wasn't until the customer behind me pointed out that I was first that the staff member finally acknowledged me. Being treated as if I were "invisible" felt like clear discrimination and was extremely disrespectful. It is deeply disappointing to encounter such poor service in a toy store that is supposed to bring joy. I hope the management will improve staff training to ensure that all customers, regardless of their background, are treated with fairness and basic courtesy
I recently visited Myer in the lead-up to Christmas to find gifts for friends; and I was genuinely pleased with what I discovered. The store offered an extensive selection across many categories: clothing, accessories, fragrances, and other gift-worthy items. The variety meant I could find everything I needed in one place; from perfumes to clothes and accessories; which made the decision-making process efficient and convenient. The ambience of the store felt welcoming and well-organized, with clear displays and a sense of order that supported easy browsing. Customer service, during my visit, was helpful and courteous when I needed guidance. Although some items reflected premium pricing, the broad range of brands ensured I could explore both cost-effective and more elevated options. I have to be honest. I ended up considering a few items for myself as well. I even purchased a pair of shoes that were not on my list, simply because I immediately fell in love with them. Although I had to wait a little longer for the staff to retrieve my size from a distant stock area, the wait was worthwhile. The shoes were excellent in quality, material, and price, making the overall experience feel rewarding. Overall, the combination of product variety, accessible price ranges, and a pleasant shopping atmosphere made Myer a reliable destination for holiday gifting. As someone who values convenience, thoughtful selection, and quality purchases, I consider Myer a dependable choice for seasonal and personal shopping alike.
