Beauty Moah

I have gone to Beauty Moah (nails) 4 times in total. The girls are always accommodating and friendly, with such a lovely studio space for their work. My first three nails were done by Mia, which she had always done her best to meet my picky custom requests for every one! I loved each one she worked hard on although I did get pinched a few times from my 2nd and 3rd visit haha. These were done last year from around Feb-April period. I decided this November to come again in which my latest nails were done by Mari and it was amazing to come back and get such nice clean pink nails. I did not go custom this time around but I made a colour change to one of the $99 designs for November and December they have going right now. The thumb flower is now white and the nail base is a darker cute pink. Mari had listened to my concern over being pinched and was very careful with my cuticles (also my skin has been horrendous). The nails turned out so well and there isn't the clumpy nail tips that can happen with layering the polish/gel. I am coming again when I want to treat myself! Thank you!

I’m really disappointed with my experience. The colours didn’t match what I asked for at all — I wanted something vibrant, but the final result was quite dull. The seashell design was also poorly done and had to be redone multiple times, which was frustrating. I was told my appointment would be finished by 12pm, however I didn’t leave until 1:15pm. Because of this delay, I had to cancel and reschedule my lash appointment, which was very inconvenient. By the end of the appointment I was rushed, exhausted, and honestly just wanted to leave, so I settled for a flower and starfish design instead of what I originally wanted. I don’t think it’s fair to say you can do certain designs if they aren’t realistically achievable. In the future, I think being more honest with clients would allow them to choose designs that are actually doable and avoid disappointment. Unfortunately, I left very unhappy with both the experience and the result.

Been coming to beauty moah for my lash lifts for quite a while now and been super happy with it! So, early this year i gave it a go for my nails too. Fast forward 9 months since the first appt, the team has been consistently good. Super thorough with the design i request. Really goes above and beyond to check if i like the colour, shape or if it hurts when they remove the cuticles (cos i have super sensitive nails). My nails always last 6 weeks and not a single nail gets "lifted" or chipped. Super important for me since i hate hate hate getting my hair getting caught in between my nails when i wash my hair. If anyone is after a professional and clean (bless them for literally sterilising everything with UV steriliser and alcohol 💯) nail salon in cbd, this is the place!

I got my nails done by Zoey again this time. Even though it’s been over five weeks since my last visit, the nails stayed perfectly intact and looked beautiful the whole time. She always takes care of my nails with such precision and speed, and I really appreciate it. The design is super cute too—I love it! Zoey herself is also really lovely, friendly, and an amazing nail artist. I’ll definitely be back again 🫶🏻

A beautiful place to give yourself a treatment. Miyako is very patient and friendly, will double check with you for every single prices, add on, extra fees…etc. however, if you would like the pedicure or manicure design, definitely need to make a reservation and they will take deposit when you book. Environment are so lovely and clean, just hope will have more air and a bit muggy since no airflow. I did my eyelash lift with Winnie, she is amazing and this place is the best so far I did my lash lift, the outcome of my eyelash is fabulous, nature, and amazing! I did my manicure with Miyako, very nice experience and service. Highly recommended and will go back again and again.

The design is always so detailed and exactly what I want. I don't think I can go to any other nail salons anymore 🙂

EDIT: not even 2 weeks after I got my nails done here, they starting peeling and when I lifted the edge up it fell clean off my nails. I've never had this happen with gel nails. WoW Staff is nice enough but their skills sadly don't match their attitude. I did the gradation/ombre new member promotion, and expected some levels of mishap but this is so far gone from the original reference I provided. I double checked if the reference was doable and if not I have back ups. I was assured yes, however even design aside the nails are just poorly done. Unever layers and coating, poor transition of colours, clear brush strokes even after top coat and not to mentio supe thick layers. The nail polish was so inconsistent that some of my nails weren't fully painted to the side or top. There was no statement that said the new members were under training so safe to assume they're meant to be fully trained. If this is the level of skills by a fully train technician, this salon is not worth it.
