Giants of Mandurah Information Centre
The Giants of Mandurah Information Centre serves as an invaluable starting point for exploring one of Perth’s most engaging outdoor art installations. Here, visitors can gather detailed maps, brochures, and souvenirs, ensuring a well-prepared adventure through the region’s six towering sculptures—five in Mandurah and one in Subiaco. The staff’s expertise shines in guiding guests through the self-guided trails, which range from easy, flat paths to slightly more challenging routes, all set against scenic natural backdrops.
While the dolphin cruises offer a unique perspective of Seba’s Song statue, the trails themselves reward explorers with accessible, well-marked routes—though preparedness with sunscreen, sturdy footwear, and insect repellent is advised. Planning ahead allows for a tailored experience, balancing proximity to car parks with the thrill of discovery, including the elusive sixth giant. A blend of art, nature, and light activity, this attraction is ideal for families, groups, or solo adventurers seeking a creative outdoor excursion.

Visitor center was super helpful, get all the goodies you need, maps, brochures, souvenirs etc. Don’t fall for the hire scooters or bikes, just drive to the designated car parks because you won’t be able to see them all in the time given. Five giants are in mandurah (including the secret one), and one up in subiaco, perth. Visiting mandurah, we skipped the one in subiaco (but with trial and error you can still complete the code/puzzle to unlock the secret location. Most of these are nature trails so ensure you have sunscreen, walking shoes and insect repellent! We decided to go on the dolphin cruise to see Seba’s Song statue from the front. So worth it with the dolphins too 🐬 All really easy walkable paths. Santi Ikto’s path is a beachwalk and a little steep and some steps to go up to. All others are flat, walkable paths with Yaburgurt being the smoothest and most wheelchair friendly.
The lady was super friendly and gave us all the information we needed to see the Giants of Mandurah. We did think there was only 5 giants as we hadn’t read the booklet properly 🙄 so on the last day we went and found the 6th one. Very happy we did even if it meant we had to walk through trees covered in spiders!
Spent 2 Sundays enjoying this Beautiful Area & Searching for Giants. Loved every Minute & managed to find them ALL! 🇦🇺😎♥️
We could visit three giants in one day; the first two were easy to reach, but the third took a long. It was a bit boring since you can't do anything except walk. And you can't find any signs on the way; we often thought we went the wrong way. Anyway, if you want to go with kids, be aware that prolonged walking can be tedious. I think they had to create them next to each other; it could attract more tourists.
I can say it was a nice experience. An activity which you can enjoy with your friends and families who don’t mind having a little hike. I’m not really into arts, but still find them amusing. I did this with friends and they all seem to enjoy it too. We saw 4 of the giants and skipped the secret giant which we are now thinking of coming back to check out. Some of the people I know said it was tiresome and time consuming but I think you just need to do a little planning ahead of time, even before you go to the visitor centre to collect the map. You can start with the easy ones and decide between the 2 long hikes (around 3.7km) which one you prefer to see so then at least you got to see the easy ones if you decide not to finish all 5 of them that day. You get to bond and talk with this activity which is a good thing.
Good day out with family. Need a bit of walk around a minimum of 20 min of walk to the giants.walk ways are flat and lot snake 🐍 signs. Great work done by the artists
My friends and I visited all five in Mandurah in three and a half hours. I recommend downloading info beforehand. We parked next to Marlee Reserve in Parklands very close to the first (and best) giant. All Giants except Lake Clifton one are dog friendly (on leash). We visited the replacement Giant even though its not officially open until Saturday, but could still see it through fence. The Halls Head Giant we parked to the south of it at end of Daydream Plaza. Lake Clifton Giant is a very long walk (no shortcut here folks). Took a picnic lunch to have at end of walks at Lake Clifton, did notice right next door the Thorny Devil Brewery who serve food if you haven't brought a hamper and drinks. Recommend week day for this adventure as even on an overcast, rain threatening day parking was starting to be at a premium.
