A well kept farm. The lemon trees were bursting with lemons, the roses were in full bloom. It was a really awesome property. The gardners are doing a great job. There are animals on the farm. Overall a lovely place.

Fantastic garden that gets better the more you know about it’s history. One of the best private gardens in Australia. From Edna Walling’s Lemon Scented Gums and walled garden to the great horse stables, perennial gardens, mature Oaks and lawns..great place to have a look around

This is such a special place , and one of the loveliest day trips Ive done in a long time. The grounds are beautifully cared for and theres a sense of intention in how everything is laid out. Its such a pretty and immersive estate. Wandering the paths felt like stepping into history, with the gardens, the stone buildings, and the overall atmosphere creating a feeling of being transported. It made me reflect on Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, especially her love of nature and her generosity of spirit through the way the property has been preserved and shared. It feels like a living legacy. You just know it's been created with care and purpose, and then opened so others can experience it too. A few practical tips.... Take your time and allow space to explore little corners and views, not just the main areas! If you enjoy photography like me, youll have endless moments, especially with the textures of the stonework and the garden vistas. Done rush it... I recommend going when you can linger. If you love gardens or heritage places, Cruden Farm is absolutely worth it.

We took a picnic basket and ate on the tables provided before the actual entry. This made it so easy and accessible from the car park to the picnic area. The estate itself just shines in all its glory! Such a delight to walk amongst the different areas of this stunning farm! There are many seats in all areas to just sit and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this haven. Highlights of the property include The family home itself along with the grass tennis court, the pool area, the stables (made of stone from a local quarry), the Picking garden filled with a vast variety of roses and the serene lake area where many ducks wander. The driveway of over 100 Lemon Eucalyptus trees is picturesque and evidence of the thought and planning that has gone into this estate by Lady Murdoch and her expert horticulturists!

A local treasure that I finally visited. Lovely gardens to stroll around. There is a long walking trail path around the outskirts of the property.

Lovely gardens and venue. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good at all, but I will definitely have to come again.
