I would give 10 stars if I could. Speedy service and very nice gentleman. My daughter stepped on her violin and broke one of the strings. I was expecting huge price to get it fixed, but he only charged a fraction of price. He also checked the violin in details, fixed the bridge and tune the violin too. I can't recommend him more. God bless.

My daughter is starting violin lessons at school and I needed to organise not only the violin, but also the other bits and pieces she needs. Timo was so helpful and always replied to my emails or enquiries quickly. He made the process easy and went above and beyond to help my daughter make sure everything was the right size or set up correctly etc. Prices were reasonable which was an added bonus. I can't recommend Timo more highly!!
Timo recently repaired my sons Violin Sound Post. Communication was great, he provided a timely service with very fair prices. I recommend Laker Music and will use Timo again.
I have had to approach Timo twice, with a broken Cello and a broken bow of a violin. My children learn these instruments and in the process ended up breaking them. In particular the Cello (brought from a very reputed company in Brisbane) broke at the neck. It was within the warranty period. It was determined by the company expert that it was NOT fixable. The only option left as per them was getting a new one and claiming with home content insurance. Timo, had a look, suggested could try and will charge us only if he could fix it to his satisfaction. After a week or two, he handed me a near new instrument. If I saw it in store, I would have easily purchased it as brand new. My son has been playing it for the last few months. I certainly paid less that 1/10th the price of the instrument and have it working order. I am very impressed with Timo’s skills, would very very highly recommend.
