MECCA Hurstville

I ordered perfume for my niece online and when I arrived Mecca Hurstville, they didn't have the perfume I ordered. I spoke with Rebecca from Mecca Hurstville who organised delivery of this perfume which I received the next day. Rebecca also gave me a beautiful gift box and bag to put the perfume in after being delivered. Thank you Rebecca for your wonderful service.

Mia (Philippino girl with tattoos) was absolutely amazing! She really listened to my concerns about my skin and how makeup usually breaks me out. She recommended products thoughtfully and even applied them on me so I could test them out without any pressure to buy right away. I really appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all. Mia is also has a degree in beauty, so she had educated me in brands, skincare and what doesn't work for my skin! Mia is so bubbly, kind, and easy to talk to—she made me feel more like a friend than just a customer. Such a lovely experience!

Came in to shop for rhode and was a bit overwhelmed with what to try but I met the lovely fatini (hope I’ve spelt it right) who came to my rescue!! She explained to me about some of the rhode products and what would be suitable for me to try. I walked away with a blush and a mini of the glazing milk to try! Thank you so much for your time today lovely ❤️

Amy is so friendly and welcoming. She helped me with finding a foundation shade which matched perfectly. She took the time to ask me questions about my skin which really showed client care. Amy is very knowledgeable in what she’s doing and she really is an asset to your team.

On October 12th, around 2:00–2:30 PM, I went upstairs to the Mecca store for a consultation. During the conversation, the consultant noticed that redness suddenly started to appear between my eyebrows. I told her that I had just had my brows waxed at a salon nearby. She reacted immediately — she said I needed a cooling cream right away to prevent a possible burn mark or scar, and she applied it for me. I’m incredibly grateful for her quick and caring response. It truly went beyond her duties, and I’m convinced that if it wasn’t for her help, I would have been left with a scar on my face. Please, if possible, let me know this consultant’s name — I would love to come back and thank her in person. 🙏❤️ Her attentive and professional actions literally saved my skin. I had the most amazing experience at Mecca this week, I entered the store feeling down and was lacking confidence due to me being heavily pregnant. I was immediately greeted by a worker named Diana. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely listened to what I was looking for. She took the time to explain products and even showed me how to use them properly, as I am hopeless with doing my makeup. She also ensured that each product was safe for pregnant women. I left feeling so confident and excited with my purchases.

Friday 16th January 2025 - I didn’t personally visit this Mecca but my granddaughter and her friends did. She told me that her and her two friends were at Hurstville, and there was a large group of teenage boys dressed in black, being loud, of Arabic decent, etc who were checking my granddaughter and her friends out. They turned into Mecca to seek safety knowing the ladies working are amazing. The guys followed the girls into Mecca and tried to corner them, making the girls visibly uncomfortable by saying things like "I want that one" or "lemme buy you this" or "I’m here for the kiss". The girls were helpless, but lucky an amazing employee heard the commotion and came over (blonde, tall, brown eyes) and asked if the girls needed help finding a product and if the guys actually needed anything in which the guys responded rudely. Another employee (short, dark hair, near the perfume section) also came and assisted with the situation. The lovely ladies offered to call security and safely helped get my granddaughter and her friends out of the dangerous situation. Overall, the customer service was amazing and I was so happy with the way the ladies handled the situation. This happened around 11 o’clock this morning - Friday 16th Jan. 5 stars, couldn’t be more greatful, god bless 🙏🙏
