We had Sophie and Cathy for our interstate wedding for a full day and it was the easiest and best decision!! Sophie and Cathy were both super professional and more organised than me - they knew my run sheet better than I did on my own wedding day! I honestly don’t know how she was able to work her magic and changing my look 3-4 times giving a different vibe every time! Even with all my tears and sobbing, the make up stayed in place and still looked absolutely flawless. The hair was perfect and not a strand of fly away in over 30 degree QLD heat!! I booked Sophie for a full day for my wedding and it was the best decision ever. Sophie and her team are super professional and very organised. Sophie went above and beyond to ensure my makeup and hair was perfect throughout the day. Sophie was able to transform my hair and makeup for all the different looks I had for the day. Sophie is a perfectionist and made sure I looked my very best at all times. I felt very comfortable being taken care of by Sophie the entire day and enjoyed her company. I am truly so grateful for Sophie’s hard work and efforts to make things run smoother on the day. Two months ago, I walked down the aisle looking and feeling beautiful thanks to Maggie Yang. From the trial to the wedding day, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. The look was flawless, Maggie was able to make eyes "pop" with her amazing skills and the whole makeup did not feel heavy at all! I’ve always been worried about finding the right makeup artist for my big day as most of my previous experience didn’t suit me well. But I’m so lucky to have found Maggie whilst looking into Sophie Lau team because she is definitely the one I needed on my wedding day! Many of my friends commented at how good the makeup was and how it lasted all day and night. The look really stayed perfect through the ceremony, photos, reception and even until I went home! Not only did the makeup last all day, but Maggie also created a calm, friendly and enjoyable atmosphere during the morning and retouch process. Sophie really exceeded every expectation!! At my trial, her attention to detail was obvious. You can tell she takes real pride in her craft and won't settle until it's perfect. On my wedding day, my makeup stayed flawless through a 15-hour day and I cried at least 5 times. My hair stayed perfect despite wind, running around, and general wedding madness. Two members of her team also did makeup and hair for our moms and sister, and they all looked beautiful as well. We had also booked a touch up before the ceremony and while she was on her way to the touch up, we bumped into her during our location shoot, and she literally opened her kit right there on the street to fix my hair. Can't recommend her enough! The photos turned out amazing and I felt confident and beautiful the entire day.

Cathy Lau absolutely nailed the bridal hair and makeup brief. She made me and my mum look and feel amazing!! We got so many compliments on the make up look on the wedding day. We would definitely be going back to her for any future events! Highly recommended!!
