Hi! I’ve been going to Ella & Jade (Algester) since 2023, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. My very first style was a short bob with a global colour, and I absolutely loved it. It was done by Alannah, and she has been my hairstylist ever since. I truly trust and value her advice. My hair has been growing so well since I started coming to Ella & Jade. The service is incredible, from the yummy drinks to the cheese boards, which always make the experience feel extra special. I pop in for regular fringe trims and haircuts (well… I try to stay regular!), and every visit is consistently amazing. Alannah is the sweetest, and she works with such a wonderful team. I’m so glad I’ve found my "constant" hair place, somewhere I can go without ever worrying about the result, because Ella & Jade never disappoints. I’ve attached a few photos from my haircuts so far. 💇‍♀️✨

I had a treat, style and cut with Chloe and enjoyed every minute. I am not one to frequent hair salons as I am a busy mum. Chloe listened to what I wanted and delivered. She was more than happy to chop more off, when I asked, and did additional curls after my blow dry. I found the salon super calm for a small and busy space! Wonderful experience. I wish my hair looked and felt like this every day ✨

Got my first curly style cut here and I’m so impressed by Anna’s skill and expertise. I had no specific style in mind (as it’s my first curly cut) and asked Anna for her opinion. She chose a fringe+ shag, and I’ve already received tons of compliments for how well it suits my face shape and features. The quality of the cut and the lack of frizz were amazing too!

Outstanding! I recently saw Stefano for my first appointment at Ella & Jade. I went in for a cut and colour and OMG - what an excellent, skilled human! He was amazing at hearing me, working through where my hair was at, what I was aiming for, and what he felt would suit my face shape and be workable with my hair. And took into account how much styling I want to do (spoiler alert: basically nothing). He even pulled up his own reference images, these were perceptive and helpful... So when he said "trust me" I did. And I was not disappointed! The result is a stunning, wavy french bob with the cutest short bangs. I went out for dinner after my appointment and two strangers stopped me to tell me how much my hair suited my face and how fabulous it looked. When I told them I'd just seen a brand new hairdresser, one woman said "KEEP HIM!" Its been almost a week now and I've honestly felt like every day has been a great hair day, it's been easy, I've felt fabulous. Possibly one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. The salon is lovely, the refreshments are lovely, music is great, lighting is good (I can get so overstimulated in salons sometimes but this one was great) I'm a huge fan. Having just moved to Brisbane, it's an enormous relief to have found myself an excellent hairdresser at a lovely salon. Dear Stefano, please never leave! 🫶🏾

I visited Ella Jade (Algester location) believing they specialised in kinky textured hair, but sadly my experience was very disappointing. The hairstylist was lovely and gentle, especially during the wash, but the styling did not meet expectations. For curly textured hair, styling is the most important part. using the correct products, especially gel for hold and definition, and drying with a diffuser from the bottom up. None of this was done. No gel or defining products were used, and my curls had no definition at all. After the cut and finger coiling, I was put under a dryer and left until a younger stylist came over. She diffused my hair from the top down instead of from underneath, which removed any chance of volume or definition. She even asked if I wanted to go home and finish it myself. For a $190 cut, style and treatment, I shouldn’t have to fix my hair at home. I left feeling embarrassed, and this experience reinforced why I haven’t had a salon haircut in Australia for eight years. I’ll now have to re-cut and re-style it myself at home. I hope Ella Jade Algester takes this feedback seriously, but at this time, I cannot recommend them for natural curl styling.

I had an amazing experience at Ella and Jade. I came in for hair colour cut and style Chloe the stylist was so gentle throughout. She made me feel so comfortable and did the colour the way I wanted. Anna did the very nice cut and style. My hair looked very nice the way I wanted for my Christmas party she suggested me for scalp treatment. When I have done the scalp treatment I felt very relaxed and my hair looked very healthy.Thank you so much! Best experience ever!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maddi is amazing! She absolutely nails my colour every time (foils to look lived in). She really listens, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel so comfortable the whole time. My hair feels healthy, looks beautiful, and the colour is exactly what I wanted. I always leave feeling so happy with the result. Highly recommend Maddi to anyone looking for a talented hairdresser! 💇‍♀️✨
