I had an absolutely amazing experience! I came in for a balayage and a bob cut, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The colour turned out beautifully blended, natural, and exactly what I wanted, and the bob cut was done with such precision and professionalism — it sits perfectly and is so easy to style. The attention to detail was outstanding, and I really appreciated how carefully they listened to what I wanted and offered honest, expert advice. They also recommended the K18 treatment, and wow — it was honestly magic. My hair feels stronger, healthier, and incredibly soft, even after colouring. The whole experience was relaxing, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. You can tell they truly care about hair health, not just the final look. I walked out feeling confident, refreshed, and in love with my hair. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert colouring, a flawless cut, and real hair-care knowledge. I’ve been coming here for years and followed Maya (owner) from her previous salon. Service is great and there’s a variety of skilled professionals for the different needs we all have. My mum has a short, above the ears style and I have a balayage, mid length style. Amanda and Emily are great at freehand balayage and we’ve worked on the perfect placements and tone over time. Consults are smooth and price is competitive. Plus, you can’t beat sipping on a complementary coffee, chai, tea or wine while you enjoy a pamper!

Came in today for a scalp bleach, the girls were super nice, very hospitable and did a great job. Will be going back if I bleach my hair again.

I wanted to go a lighter brown after not touching my hair for 4 years. I was really excited to do it here cause I have read my reviews. But after 2 and a half hours, it looks the same just with a cut. The lady’s didn’t want to foil my hair as it would take more time. I advised I don’t mind the time but they didn’t want to do it. I should of just left and went somewhere else. I have attached a before and after. As you can see, I am now wishing I left it before. UPDATE: I have explained the dissatisfaction of my hair and what I asked for was not delivered. I asked for at least half a refund as I seem like that is fair instead of a full refund, I was refused the refund and was hung up on twice by ERIKA. I then spoke to the manager who was not willing to provide a good customer service experience. I was willing to spend up too $500 at the salon. Will be taking my money elsewhere and will ensure my sister who has a following of 100k on TikTok my experience. Last photo is what I wanted. I could not give a better recommendation for a hair salon than Hairport 1. I've followed Maya and Lucy from Aurorah Rose in Ringwood to their new location at Hairport 1 in Boronia and their expanded team is nothing short of amazing. I travel from the Melbourne CBD to visit them regularly and I would follow them anywhere! They take the time to listen to what you want and I have genuinely never left unhappy. I can be very ambiguous about exactly what I want at the best of times and they have always been patient with me and taken the time to explain every step and make sure I'm comfortable before we go ahead. The atmosphere of the salon is so vibrant and all the girls are super friendly. You are never left feeling forgotten or unattended because they all work together as a team. They are experts in blonde (which I had for years) and Lucy is EXCEPTIONAL with vibrant colour work. I have attached a photo of what she did for me just a few days ago - I'm in love with it! 😍 10/10, 5 stars, cannot recommend enough. ✨✨

Desi has been doing my hair for over a year now, and she never fails to amaze me with her skills! She is so attentive and I am very impressed with the results every time! Every stylist at Hairport 1 is very friendly, knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer any questions. Would highly recommend!
