Ella Baché Balwyn

Not what is advertised. Yesterday l went to Ella Baché Balwyn to buy a voucher for a birthday gift. I decided on a Facial Treatment - there were 5 different facials. $155 / 1 hr 15 min. I paid for the voucher and as l was leaving l confirm that the facial was 1hr 15 mins. OMG l could not believe it when the receptionist said "NO" it’s 1 hr. She told me that 15 mins was to go through the products that had been used in the facial. I purchased this for a relaxing experience not to have a hard sell at the end. I was so annoyed. The receptionist then changed her story and started to say ridiculous things about parking the car, time to get changed, time to clean for the next client. I checked about other treatments- yes 1hr is 1hr 30mins is 30mins But 1hr 15min is 1 hr No Thank You - this is false advertising. I got a refund and left. I will never be back.

I wasn't going to write a review but seeing as I keep getting emails to do so, here it goes. Unfortunately, while the staff were nice enough, I felt incredibly rushed while getting my tan. Twice, two people walked in on me getting changed, not knocking. There was no consultation about colour whatsoever, which is a pity for the $57 price tag where I thought I could have some customisation as to hue and undertones. The tan itself was blotchy, especially on my hands where it took a yellow hue.

Had a microdermabrasion treatment facial with Sophie. She was lovely and very professional and explained what I needed to do for aftercare. Now my skin looks so smooth and clear. Thank you! I love the products also - in particular the neck cream and floral face/ body oil.

I was disappointed with my experience at Ella Bache Balwyn. I've visited a few times, hoping things would improve since I had a voucher, but unfortunately, it only got worse. The body massage and facial I booked felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. During the massage, the therapist moved the towel down past my waist, which made me feel uneasy. The massage itself was unpleasant, as she primarily used her arm and elbow instead of her hands, which I didn’t enjoy at all. The facial wasn’t much better—it mostly involved her applying products without any actual massage. At one point, she put a mask on my face and then just sat there for about five minutes. Compared to other massages and facials I've experienced, this was by far my least favourite. I won’t be returning.

What a disgraceful experience at the Balwyn shop. I will never return or recommend! Don’t ever ever purchase a Ella bache gift card!!! They attach there own conditions on them when not listed anywhere prior to purchase. How vulgar and arrogant the team are. Not one happy smiling face! If you are so unhappy working there LEAVE!!! Don’t take out your frustrations on your clients. The facial was so rushed and rough! So unprofessional. I could smell her horrific cigarette fingers smothering my face- disgusting. The appalling and smug attitude will shut you down !

Have been going to this salon since it opened and it’s just changed ownership. Very impressed by new management. Just had a bikini wax and full pedicure for my upcoming holiday and the pedicure was amazing. Thank You

I just has facial and back massage. It was ok, but what happened was, I had a gift voucher that I thought it worths $100, so I booed facial. The lady in massage room told me I have $195 and can use the rest, so I want for back massage. It supposed to be 1:30 hr all together but mine finished after 1:10 hr. Also I noted back massage for 30min is $70! So they charged me extra and gave me less services! Will never go back never 👎
