Avis Car & Truck Rental Gladstone Airport

Would not give any star if was possible. These guys have charged us almost two weeks after returning a car after it was a death trap sliding around wet roads and they accused us of a small stone (not even seen in the pic lodged into an a/c condenser) we had no a/c from leaving the airport but didn’t give two fs. I took a pic of the windows fogging up and they stated because the pic was taken elsewhere and not at the airport it’s our fault and the rock lodged was from me. I have hired multiple cars and a great customer and honestly they had no worries blaming us to charge 1400 and helped themself to the card weeks later. Tiffany hyne if we didn’t have an a/c problem I wouldn’t of needed to take a pic and send it, the other thing is it takes time for the window to start fogging and the ac to work we wouldn’t of known untill leaving the airport. Also in our pics you can see the rub marks from someone previously trying to clear the windows Return the money and own your dodgy form. I will be logging further with consumer and Avis head office James

Very unsympathetic and rude female staff when called to seek assistance on 30/9 with suspected flat battery rental car. The female staff didn’t want to believe that the battery is flat and insisted for me to return the car if I want replacement car. Didn’t want to check the car that is stranded at the Oaks hotel. Later spoke to a male staff that is very professional and kind. The problem was eventually resolved easily by Avis and with minimum inconvenience to me.

Car was fine but pick up experience was awful. I arrived early and said was happy to pick up early if no extra charge, as wanted to drop off at same time. They then tried to charge more more and turned extremely inflexible. Management discretion non existent. Also the online and then phone booking experience was bad - when I tried to change the pick up time I had to get a supervisor to intervene else I would have lost the car which was in short supply

The Avis Car and Truck Rental in Gladstone is not a very large retal retail. Due to space and available car spaces there is not much cars to select from. That being said the service was proffessional and provided information when requested. The vehicles are in good condition and cleaned well.

Wonderful service by the friendly young lady at the counter. My car was ready, cleaned, and filled with gas. The paperwork was completed, and I was in my car within 5 mins!! A perfect car rental experience!

Worst customer service I have ever come across. They discriminate against you if you don't have a credit card and won't even hire to you if you have the money on your debit card. They have no interest in solving the situation and helping their customers out. They make the decision personally and not by company policy. Don't hire through this branch They are simply disgraceful.

Great checkin experience, friendly staff, clean efficient car too... would recommend👍
