Hollywood Plaza

This is for PERADO. Very disappointing experience at PERADO. I asked for a simple fade haircut, but the result was clearly uneven the fade on each side was at a different height and the blending at the back was poorly done. The barber who cut my hair seemed unsure of what she was doing while working on the fade. Unfortunately, the final result showed that. To be fair, I came back the next day to give them the chance to fix it. Instead of improving the haircut, it actually became even more uneven. I was then told that the issue was because my hair was "too dry," which honestly sounded like an excuse rather than taking responsibility for the poor fade. For a $30 haircut, I expected basic competence and professionalism. I gave them the opportunity to fix the mistake, but the result was still unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend PERADO.

At Perado I asked for a mid taper fade with a little off the top, which is a very basic haircut. What I got had no real taper, poor blending, and the back was clearly rushed and badly done. I went back to give them a chance to fix it, and instead of actually correcting the taper, they cut even more off the top and pushed the fade much higher, making it noticeably worse. At that point it was obvious they didn’t know how to fix their own mistake. This wasn’t a complicated request at all — just standard barber work — and somehow it was messed up twice. I left more frustrated than when I came in the first time. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a fade or taper, and I wish I’d gone somewhere else.

Great place to shop . Chiera and Sons fruit and veg is awesome. I bought a fruit platter for Christmas looks yummy. Great value and fresh 👌 Highly recommend

This shopping center is quite a hidden treasure. It is off the 'beaten track', but it has everything you could want without the massive crowds that go to other centers. It is clean and uncluttered and very accessible to everyone.

The centre has improved, more shops filling up the complex and more security presence. Food court offers enough variety. Woolworths, Coles, Target, Priceline, Daiso and several phone shops.

Not bad saw Elvis Presley and was served by Pamela Anderson at the IGA, and Eddie Murphy gave me a parking ticket. Shit happens. Nice venue.

When I was growing up and living in the area, I used to come to Hollywood Plaza regularly with the family, and I still drop by occasionally to shop around and relive the good old days. Except for the iconic rainbow sign being removed, great to see that not much has changed nowadays.
