⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Consistently Outstanding – Our Favourite Local Spot! We absolutely love visiting Mountview Cafe – it’s our go-to weekend spot for a delicious and satisfying brunch. The food is consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and excellent value for money. Every visit is a treat, and this one (Saturday, 19th July 2025) was no exception! On this occasion, we ordered two Avo Stack dishes – both featuring generous servings of smashed avocado on perfectly toasted sourdough. One was topped with crispy bacon and creamy scrambled eggs (plus an extra egg), while the other had silky poached eggs. Both were finished with crumbled feta, a sprinkle of herbs, and served with a side of fresh greens and lemon. Absolutely divine! The quality and flavour of the ingredients always shine through, and the portions are more than satisfying. But what really makes Mountview Cafe stand out is the incredible staff – they’re always attentive, friendly, and professional, creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. If you’re after great food, top-notch service, and a charming setting, you can’t go past Mountview Cafe. We’ll definitely be back again (and again)!

Have been coming here weekly with my partner and have been so happy with this cafe. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the coffee is amazing. Food comes out only a couple minutes after ordering and is always delicious and fresh. Can’t recommend this place enough - hope the staff are getting paid well for the exceptional service they provide 🙂

I love this place so much. I've been coming here for years and I've tried heaps of items on the menu. The food comes out quick, they've never made a mistake with my orders, they're friendly and polite and it's really delicious. Wheelchair access, dog friendly, variety of food options. You can't go wrong with this hidden gem. I impore everyone to check this place out on your next day off. You won't be disappointed.

My friend and i went to Mountview Cafe for lunch of chicken wraps and fries, it was honestly so delicious and i could have sat down to a bucket load of those fries, really yummy. Service was friendly and cheerful; my first time there and i'd happily recommend to all my friends. 😁

Really can't say enough about our impromptu dinner here. 5 of us, quickly seated and treated attentively by the front staff. Food was exceptional ! Arrived all at the same time and all 5 different dishes perfect. Fettuccine Carbonara is so on point ! Keep doing what your doing guys, outstanding value, quality & atmosphere locally !

Quite an average quality of food. Sourdough' taste is nothing extraordinary and doesn't resemble artisan type of bread. I did like their crumbled feta mixed with the herbs, that was lovely, Hollandaise sauce was fantastic (yet super expensive $3!), and coffee would be perfect if wasn't so sweet even with 1 sugar. I personally would love to see some more vegetables or ingredients added to this dish to enhance presentation and justify the price, - maybe pickled red onions, capers, fresh cucumber shavings or something within those lines... Just something is missing there. And please don't smear smashed avo on the toast, it doesn't look appetizing. Just place it on top neatly with a spoon, I can spread it at home myself. Sustainable packaging is definitely a winner for me, which wasn't the case here.
