Antiques and Heirlooms
Address stands out in Australia’s jewelry scene for its curated selection of art deco-inspired pieces, blending classic elegance with refined craftsmanship. While the store’s aesthetic and product quality have earned praise, experiences with service can vary significantly—some visitors report attentive, knowledgeable assistance, while others encounter a lack of engagement or accessibility during business hours.
The atmosphere leans toward a selective, high-end shopping experience, though inconsistencies in customer interaction may deter those seeking warm, proactive service. Potential buyers should verify store policies and availability beforehand, as accessibility and staff responsiveness appear to be key factors in shaping the overall visit.

Wanted to purchase a ceramic item from the window but door was locked at 1230 pm on a thursday. Some woman was teetering around inside but not interested in opening up or explaining like a decent person. Similar to other experiences here.
Pretty jewellery but only got to catch a quick glimpse as the owner was extremely unhelpful and apparently didnt want to sell us anything 🤣 Couldnt be bothered to suggest anything or read a price tag. Pretty rude and 1 star for customer service.
Such a beautiful shop and I have purchased several wonderful items of jewellery and silver during the past few years from it. The owner was always very helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable about the items I was inquiring about. Highly recommend this business.
I waited for a long time while there were customers in front of me and the owner that was working there didn’t even ask if I was doing ok or even say hello. It was about 15 minutes I waited and when the customers left my friend asked if she could look at a ring that was displayed and the owner, a blond old lady snapped at her while completely changing her tone to happy and joyful from the other old lady’s to angry and annoyed when talking to two young girls and said no and said she wouldn’t be able to afford it as it’s worth $10k. During when she was snapping at us she didn’t even look at her and were doing other things so we decided to leave.
Looks like there's a lovely collection of art deco jewellery but unfortunately didn't get any further than the window. While finishing up a phone call outside the front yesterday (because I believe walking into any shop on the phone is rude) a blond lady came out and rudely snapped "the sign says no photos". I let her know I was on the phone and even showed her my screen. She just marched back into the shop without a word. Even if I was taking photographs, anyone with the most basic customer service training or experience would have handled the situation better than she did. Needless to say I didn't venture any further inside. Seems I'm not the only one who has had a less than pleasant experience based on the other reviews here.
I waited 15 minutes to ask if I could see a ring up close and when she stopped talking to this older lady she changed her tone and didnt even look at me, I asked about the ring and she cut me off saying it was to expensive for someone like me and it was at lest 10K. I tryed to lighten the mode by asking about the other rings but she kept dismissing me so I just left, honestly seen better costmer service at karans dinner no joke, at lest they look at you. 🫤
We read several not great reviews and went anyway joking to ourselves about how our experience might be. Turned out the owner was lovely and very knowledgeable. We were looking for an antique silver brooch and bought a really cute one of a koala bear sitting on a branch. Perhaps since we had a plan and an idea of what we were looking for it then made for a great experience. It is worth going to the shop and if you have a general idea of what you want to see then maybe that helps.
