I received such wonderful customer service at James Thredgold Jewellers x I'm an Aussie expat visiting from England and my gold ankle chain broke x I took it in to be repaired & a staff member said it would be fixed within 24 hours plus he would reinforce the link & clean the chain for me. Later that afternoon I received a call saying my ankle chain was ready for collection. You can't even see where the repair was done. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are friendly, helpful & professional with speedy service & great value for money. The nice young man who served me even looked up which bus I needed to catch to get into town later in the week. So kind.

I’m so pleased with the service I received at James Thredgold Jeweller. I brought in a ring that needed repair, and the jeweller did an incredible job restoring it to perfect condition. This included sourcing a stone, a citrine, that had come loose and subsequently lost. I had actually purchased this designer ring from JTJ several years ago. The craftsmanship is excellent — you’d never know it was ever damaged nor that the stone had been replaced. I cannot recommend Laurence highly enough. She was friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the process. I’m thrilled with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing jewellery repairs, custom work or simply purchasing any of their astonishing pieces of jewellery.

Derek did an amazing job with my wife’s diamond engagement ring. From initial planning and design to personal diamond selection the process was top notch from start to finish. The end product was spectacular and she loved it! Our wedding bands are perfect too. Highly recommend.

I brought in a diamond pendant after the original wire broke and wanted it reset on a fine gold chain. Pia suggested a chain that was stronger than the one I initially chose — much more practical for me, while still so delicate. They removed the existing bar and added eyelets so the pendant sits nicely all the time. Pia also suggested a tiny extra ring in the chain at the back so I can wear it at different lengths. I couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship, and the extraordinary service from both Pia and Tom. It is absolutely perfect. Thank you!

I was purchasing an item for a 105 year old and she wanted it at short notice for her birthday. The staff were very attentive to my friend and made the request an urgent order. It wasn't easy measuring her arthritic finger but they were gentle and kind and the ring came early and fits perfectly. Thank you very much for your kind attention and a beautiful ring.
