Prouds the Jewellers Ipswich

My partner and I had a disappointing experience with this jewellery store. When we took my engagement ring and wedding band back for resizing, one of the employees claimed my wedding band was scratched, even though it had never left the box and wasn’t worn at all. We were told it would take 2-4 weeks to resize, and I’d receive a call when it was ready. Six weeks passed with no call, despite our attempts to reach them over 13 times in the last week. Finally, someone answered and informed us my ring was ready. When we asked why we hadn’t been contacted, we were told they don’t notify customers when jewellery is ready. A simple courtesy call would have been appreciated. Overall, this experience has left us very dissatisfied. We’ll definitely be going to a different Prouds store in the future. Highly don’t recommend coming here.

Love love love the ladies here! Bought mine and my husbands wedding rings here which are absolutely beautiful. The ladies working there were just a delight to talk to. We're very helpful in getting the ring resized too.

I just want to say a big thank you to Chelyne, Susanna and Jamie Lea. I went to Prouds at Riverlink shopping for an engagement ring for my beautiful bride be and to say I had no idea about diamonds would be about right. But with the help of these ladies I was educated about the 4 c’s and gathered a general understanding of what I was looking for. Thank you for your exceptional service.

Super annoyed, bought my mum a $788 ring for Christmas just for the gem to fall out after one week of wearing it. I also bought my latter a 9ct white gold ring for them to charge me $230 for two sizes down and then tell me it’ll take 3-4 weeks to get the ring back. The ladies were extremely rude and pushy. Wouldn’t take no for an answer, I told them 100 times I wanted the 3 year care plan and they wouldn’t leave me alone trying to convince me of the 10 year plan and charge me even more! Do not go here. Terrible quality. My sister in-laws bracelet broke after only wearing it twice. Go to pandora! Much nicer and better quality.

Feels like sales staff will say anything to get a sale. Brought an engagement ring was told by store manager up to ten days for re sizing, but because we purchased the care plan they get these through a lot quicker.... it's now ten days. Called the store only for the Manager to deny saying ten days "I would never say that to you, its at least two weeks plus & now due to covid" - seems they'll say anything to make a sale. Thanks for the damper on getting engaged, cant even say I'm looking forward to collecting my ring when it does eventually come back

Always love going into a prouds. The staff are always so lovely and so catering, no matter which prouds I travel to. I was lucky enough to interact with Julie tonight and my god, did she just brighten my day. She was absolutley wonderful!
