Prouds the Jewellers Morayfield

Had a lovely experience! I bought the Silver Round Cluster Stud Earrings for a friend’s 21st and she absolutely loved them! Thank you to Karen for being so kind 😊

I won't be spending a cent in this shop...I was in the Store today (09/01/26) standing at the necklace counter for like 5+ minutes as I seen the perfect necklace, allowing time to be served and was being ignored. If Prouds employs people like this it won't surprise me they go bankrupt...maybe they should employ on Commission & Personality.

I swear staff are racist. Or racially profile. When me and my husband who are brown come in, we ALWAYS get asked to view our ID to check jewellery while other customers don’t seem to be asked? Or other times when I ain’t wearing an Aboriginal shirt, and not with my husband, I don’t get asked? That’s straight up weird to be told to view ID when no one else does that. Especially for jewellery that’s like $100. My husband again, who is brown wanted to view chains by himself, he was told by staff they can’t let him hold the chains. It’s not allowed. He looked around the store and saw other customers holding chains, wearing jewellery or whatever else. He pointed it out and said, what about them? Then they were like oh okay. And let him hold the chains to see if he liked it….. idk why we are getting different treatment or being made to feel like we are untrustworthy strictly because we ain’t white. I would come here ALL the time for over 10 years, to the Morayfield store, but since these encounters, I no longer want to give these people my service or money. Definitely avoid.

There’s the rudest old lady in there always so in polite she doesn’t know manners. She’s the rudest lady I’ve ever had in customer service.

Visited yesterday. Found a nice item in the last chance cabinet marked $99. When going to pay was told it would be $199! Refused to sell the item at displayed price which I have photographed with item barcode, original and marked price included minutes prior to trying to purchase to ask a second opinion as it was intended as a gift . Senior staff member was rude, no apology or offer to assist in finding a suitable alternative. Come to review and there is a similar complaint within a week prior of mine for the same issue! Stock your stores more carefully or get better staff! Terrible service when your looking to spend but unable!

What an awful experience I had at this store today! Requested to purchase a gold padlock bracelet only to be told I could not purchase it at the advertised price! Just told "no you can’t have it for that price, that’s the wrong price"! No apology, no explanation just NO! "Oh you can call ACCC if you like"!Thank you, I will never step foot in one of your stores again! Judging by the many other disgruntled customer reviews, you need a serious overhaul at that store!
