The cutest shop! I make sure to visit each time I visit Hobart. I took back some books and then decided to gift them to friends. But I also wanted a copy for myself, so I purchased via their online website. Amazing service! Wrapped with love and care. Many thanks to Redparka! What an absolutely gorgeous store. Filled to the brim with beautiful local handmade jewellery, bags, kitchen cloths and more! The staff are incredibly friendly too. They were more than happy to provide advice as to where I should visit and check out while in Hobart. Very LGBTQIA+ friendly too, which is refreshing, when you come from a place where that is most definitely not the case. I know the friend I visited with, really loved seeing books and merchandise that they felt well-represented them.
Terrific store, great business ethics and beautifully displayed stock. Rain was really passionate about the store, even though they are not the owner…the owners clearly create a happy workplace for the team & an inclusive space for customers too. Will definitely be back for gifts. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🙏

I love my Red Parka earrings! I purchased the Derwent River Handfish ones back in 2021 from the brick and mortar store, then just recently purchased the Gouldian Finch ones from the website. They are my fave, such nice quality and always get so many compliments.
A gem of a store! Stumbled across it while exploring Hobart and so glad I did! It’s full of so many beautiful gifts and unique art, jewellery and crafts. So glad to see they have a website to purchase from so I continue to buy from the shop once I return home! I had so much fun looking through all the local artwork and came away with so many lovely things.
