Prouds the Jewellers Hobart

Awful customer experience compared to any at Glenorchy I received. I came in and was not greeted or acknowledged, inquired about a ring and she came over to help but switched to another lady who just came in looking at a more expensive item. Completely ignored me and only sent someone to help after Minutes of me standing there waiting for the help she said she would be providing. Will definitely not be going there again. Very disappointing and would not recommend

My recent purchase from Prouds (Oct'),was a G-Shock. I'm an avid watch buyer & recommend Prouds as one of the better jewellers in Hobart's CBD. Professional & friendly. Always making sure your needs are met. Prices are of an affordable nature. After several purchases over a few years I wouldn't be returning if they weren't an A1 store.

Needed to return my watch as I had only had it a week and it wasn't keeping time correctly. Unfortunately I had to wait until 10am for the store to open as someone had called in sick and this happens from time to time but once I was served I was treated with professionalism and they replaced my watch without hesitation. I recommend them as there was a bit of effort for them sizing the band etc but it wasn't an issue for them so I will definitely shop there again!!

I was very impressed by the selection and fantastic service from Sarah-May and another worker whose name I didn’t catch!

Today I bought 2 gold chains and was looked after by a staff member named Nikiah. The customer service was genuinely kind. Nikiah spent a long period of time helping me and providing useful recommendations. I hope Nikiah's managers are able to see this to know their staff are providing positive customer experiences. I recommend this Prouds store.

Today I took back a pair of earrings that the clasp broke off same day i purchased them. I wanted to upgrade the pair paying extra to ensure longevity. The manager explained abruptly that prouds policy was to send items away for repair but she would do me a good deed and let me have a replacement of the same pair. Another store member took over the transaction and said sure i could choose another pair and pay the difference. The manager overheard and stepped in refusing to allow this saying she already explained this however had not explained that i couldn't upgrade just saying that she was doing me a 'favour' by allowing me to swap to the same pair when she should be sending them for repairs. I left feeling that this seemed like i was treated unfairly and was never offered a refund as per the policy read. Poor and questionable customer service.
