The owner is moody and has a bad attitude, if you have a customer service issue! After leaving this store a stellar review, I regretfully am amending it because Lucy the owner needs to treat ALL her paying customers with respect. Whether they spend a few hundred dollars a year in her store, or thousand's of dollars! Especially when she is passing off items placed on display that are battery operated as "new," when in fact they no longer are, once out of their box and on display! Very disappointing!

I was in Hobart Last year for few hours of business and meetings in Salamanca, decided to go inside LUC while I was waiting for my day to start. What a wonderful owner, 2 lovely kind ladies, purchased few items and I have to say i love my Tom Dixon pieces. Since I am back to Melbourne constantly checking their website and Instagram. I recommend this store to whom always hunting for different rare pieces. Thank you and will visit for sure.

I popped in with my wife for just a "Quick 0 and it turned out to be anything but. The stock is of exceptional quality with an amazing range. I'd say to the men, keep your wives away from the candles, but that would be pointless because of the number of equally beautiful items excluded by that statement. My beautiful wife got me a very lovely roll on perfume oil, so I am very glad we popped in. Well worth a look, you'd have to be a glass half empty person not to find something that you like.

Yesterday, I went shopping at Luc discount store and spent a total of $471. However, upon arriving home, I discovered an issue with one of the items I purchased: it had conflicting 2 price tags. The original price tag indicated $140 next to a reduced price of $50, another one is a red sticker showed $30. This discrepancy meant I was overcharged by $20. When I called the store to address the matter, their response was indifferent. They asked me to come in to discuss it, but living far away, I inquired about their closing time. They confirmed they closed at 4 PM and stated they wouldn't reopen. Fearing I might miss them, I rushed to the store. Upon arrival, the conversation took an unexpected turn. The store claimed the item's correct price was $50, attempting to remove the clearance sticker to hide their mistake. When I questioned this, they abruptly stopped and suggested the sticker wasn't theirs but likely placed by another customer. This explanation seemed unreasonable, especially since nearly all their products had similar red clearance tags. I also asked if other items might have different internal prices not reflected on their stickers, to which they assured me this was an isolated incident. Despite the red sticker clearly marked sale price $30, they insisted the internal box price of $50 is the item price. An employee then impatiently pointed out that I had already received numerous discounts due to purchasing several discounted items. I told her, "You do the clearance sale, not me ask you to do that." This silenced them momentarily. I requested a photo of the product on display to verify their claim about the internal price, but they couldn't provide one, removing the clearance sticker in silence instead. Eventually, they agreed to refund the overcharged $20. Despite receiving the refund, I expressed that my concern wasn't solely about the money but about their lack of accountability. The shopping experience left me feeling disrespected and frustrated by their unwillingness to acknowledge their mistake. Their dismissive attitude was particularly disappointing, especially towards Asian customers like myself. In the future, I hope they can handle such situations with greater professionalism and friendliness, focusing on improving customer service alongside offering quality products.
