Cook and Bathe Flemington

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Michelle at Cook & Bathe who helped me with my bathroom renovation. It turns out she’s been there for 10 years and it really shows as her product knowledge is fantastic. Michelle was invaluable in helping me with selection and design ideas, quickly recognising my style and matching these to my budget. Renovations don’t always run smoothly, or at least mine didn’t, but I truly appreciated Michelle’s patience and professionalism – as my parameters seemingly kept changing, she would have a solution. Other C&B staff were good too, but after a while I would wait for Michelle to become available as she was always across everything; would not hesitate to recommend her.

Prices were good and lots of choice offered. However, what made it special was Ritika, from online sales, who supplied exceptional service and dedication in assisting me with the supply of tapware. Her extensive knowledge of the parts required was second to none.

Michelle has been assisting me with many projects over the years in my construction company, Indojade Developments. I have always found her to be professional & great to work with. She is a wealth of experience with over 10 years in the industry & always makes my job easier when it comes to choosing products, offering alternatives & competitive pricing. Go & see Michelle, you won't be disappointed.

On the 21st July I ordered a Franke sink from Cook and Bathe. It showed "in stock" and cost $1,066 in fact with the tap unit I spent $1,828 with them. It took 18 days to receive the order (we are in North Queensland so it takes a little longer but usually we receive deliveries with about 7 days) which arrived the day after I left for an overseas trip. The courier left it by the gate where my cleaner collected it and put it securely in my garage. On my return home I opened the carton to find the sink unit cracked and unusable. The packaging was pretty ordinary. I reported this to Cook and Bathe who refused to take responsibility for the damage stating that I had to notify them within 48 hours of receipt. This was of course not possible as their slow delivery meant that I was not here when it arrived. After much discussion with them they finally offered to sell me another sink at a discounted price. I of course declined and ended up buying a sink made by and supplied by another company. It arrived in 4 days and was beautifully packaged and in perfect condition! I would caution anyone from buying from this company. They clearly do not respect their customers. They supplied faulty goods (unusable) and refused to make good. Be very careful dealing with them!

I have been dealing with Michelle on both a personal and professionally level and found her to be most accommodating for all our needs. We recently filmed there for our business about accessibility and can’t thank her enough for being involved.
