Myer Chatswood

Good range of products, but service could be better Myer Chatswood is a large department store with a good selection. I had an enjoyable time shopping for boots, as there were many styles to choose from. That said, don’t expect much in terms of service. Some shoes didn’t have price tags, and when I asked a staff member, she mentioned she had to retrieve the box from the back just to check the price. The three local sales staff I encountered seemed uninterested and unenthusiastic about assisting customers. However, a young Chinese-looking girl at the cashier stood out for being more polite and helpful, which was appreciated. Overall, a decent shopping experience if you're focused on the products and not the service.

There is a wonderful sales assistant up the top of Myer Chatswood, a lady working in the kitchen/cutlery section. She helped me order in store some cutlery to be delivered, cutlery that I had been to 4 previous Myers to find (that website stock levels were incorrectly saying as ‘have stock’). I was on the way to the airport and thought I’d try one last Myer on the way - so I didn’t have much time - but she was quick and thorough and just a lovely person. A big thank you to her. Myer - you really need to update your ‘check if in store’ on website items - that was frustrating going into stores and none of the cutlery being there.

The store layout is clean, modern, and easy to navigate, making every visit enjoyable and stress-free. What really stands out is the customer service. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. On my most recent visit, I had help finding the perfect outfit and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

Fantastic customer service! I was helped by Anna in the Forever New department at Myer and she was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, attentive, and went out of her way to make my shopping experience pleasant. Her friendly attitude and professionalism made such a difference. Thank you, Anna! Great experience at the CHANEL counter in Myer. Michelle was thoughtful and professional. She wrapped my gift beautifully, offered samples, and kindly asked if I needed a gift receipt. Excellent service. Highly recommended🫶

The Carolina in the YSL beauty counter is the best sales I have ever met. It is friendly, helpful, very familiar with the products, and very aesthetic. It helped me choose the most suitable lipstick for me. Thank you very much. She didn't get angry because I tried for a long time either. She is the best, because of her, I want to give her a good review.

2 not so great experiences this evening at around 3:30pm. Staff member at Dior lied about running out of small gift bags. I purchased an item as a gift and was told there were no more small Dior gift bags, was told to ask a different staff member for a general Myer bag, who went over and got me a small Dior gift bag …so turns out they actually hadn’t ran out?! I don’t understand why one would lie about that? That’s never happened to me before. Staff member at Estée Lauder not very helpful with shade selection when I said I was currently wearing a certain shade of their foundation (which I specified) and just needed something a shade lighter. She had no clue… is it lack of knowledge or is it a language barrier, or maybe a bit of both? Went to Estée Lauder at Macquarie centre right after, the staff member there was way more helpful and knew right away which shades were 1 or 2 shades lighter and gave them both to me to sample.
