Great pub for a Sunday lunch with friends and family Also FYI the kids meals when ordering them online, they come with a soft drink and you can't ordering it without a soft drink. Not complaining. I didn't realise this and had already ordered the grand kids a soft drink with our grand parents drink. And then when ordering the kids meals that's when I discovered that kids meals can only be ordering with a soft drink.

We came here tonight for dinner. We came quite early at 5pm and the place was so busy. We love our schnitzels - this place claims to be "best schnitzels in Brisbane" but honestly they are average. Such a small serving compared to what they used to be a few years back. Mine wasn’t crispy on the outside, it was soggy and seems like it had been frozen and reheated with the way the crumb was. We ordered a garlic bread and specifically said on the app to come out as an entree. My husbands meal and kids meal came out first. Garlic bread came out 20 minutes later in which no one then ate because everyone was full, then my meal was 15-20 minutes after the garlic bread. Make it make sense….. Especially when we specify when we would like the meals, it’s disappointing. Everyone had finished their meal before I even got mine. I ordered all of ours at the same time (which on the app states if you’d like all your meals together order at the same time) and it still ends up failing. After spending $120.00 here and travelling almost an hour to try this place again after a few years tonight, we won’t be back. We will stick to our local.

Dropped into the tavern today on my way home from work. Not been there for over 10 years. Was impressed with the service I received while there.. Found the staff very approachable and Friendly. And very special thank you to Lucy for her Friendly attitude and the service i received in the gaming area.

Stopped in recently to catch up with a friend. Had a great meal. Lovely spot. And amazing service from Lucy!! She was so sweet. Will definitely be coming back!!

One of the best pork bellies I've had. Everyone else was happy with theirs too. The pizza toppings are really worth it.

Amazing service from Renee! We’ve just moved to Capalaba and popped into the Capalaba Tavern and Renee made us feel like true locals straight away. Her service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, great playlist too! She went out of her way to help us with the Pub+ app too, which we really appreciated. All-round fantastic service. Thanks to Renee, we’ve definitely found our new local! 🍻

Had a couple of drinks in the Sports Bar last night with some friends. We met young Airlie. What a lovely young lady. Such a beautiful girl. Truly an asset to this business. Keep up the great work, you will go far.
