BIG DADDY'S FRESH MARKET

I have had my first grocery shopping experience in Melbourne after moving here. This grocery shop is amazing for the quality of the products and prices comparing with Brisbane 💯 I highly recommend shoppers in local grocery shops instead of paying fortune to Coles & Woolworths monopoly 💯 Fruits & Vegetables at all the shelves neat and tidy. Prices are quite visible and clear 💯 Thank you for the kind service ✅

I would like to share my positive experience with Naila, who works at Bigg Daddy Butcher Shop. She is always extremely helpful, proactive, and genuinely attentive to customers. This is a demanding role, and serving customers continuously is not easy, yet Naila handles it with remarkable patience and professionalism. She has helped me every single time, even when I asked detailed or difficult questions like as how many pieces of chicken are typically in 1 kg. I am truly impressed by her behaviour, her respectful attitude toward all customers, and her consistently helpful nature. She is a real asset to the store and makes the shopping experience much better.

I had a great experience with Naznin at Bigg Daddy Butcher Shop. She is always friendly, proactive, and extremely helpful with customers. This job is demanding, but she handles it with patience and professionalism every time. She has helped me on multiple visits, even answering detailed questions (like how many pieces of chicken are usually in 1 kg) without hesitation. I’m very impressed by her respectful behaviour and genuinely helpful nature. She is a real asset to the store.

Bought packed fruits from BIG DADDY FRUIT SHOP and it was a complete disappointment. The fruits looked fine from the outside, but once opened, several pieces were already overripe, mushy, and starting to smell. For something that’s pre-packed, I expected at least basic freshness and quality control. What’s worse is that packed fruits are supposed to be convenient and trustworthy — instead, it felt like old stock was repackaged and sold anyway. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t trust buying packed fruits from here again. Very disappointing experience. 👎

Rename this store to big cheats of manor lakes. I am posting this because this experience was the last straw even though I have put up with it for 2+ years for absence of a competitive veg store nearby. 1- I was charged for a plastic bag I didn’t ask and when pointed out, I was told to wait until the lady can address it and after 5 minutes she asks me loudly if I needed a refund for 15 cents when I said yes she argued that anyone can do mistakes while billing and offered no apology and instead trying to provoke me by speaking loudly. 2- the prepacked tomatoes bag was all rotten. 3- onion bag 2kg was mostly rotten onions concealed in a bag. 4 weighing scales also are having issues as the billed weight is different from what the same thing weighs on your machine. At least 15% higher. Notwithstanding the deliberate errors. Quality of all items are inferior and dropped below acceptable levels. This review is for other customers to save themselves the pain of shopping here.

I am shocked at how poorly this store is maintained. The place is dirty, the floors are not cleaned. The vegetables are overripe, bruised, or even rotten, yet they are pushed with so-called special offers. A big discount here usually means the fruits or vegetables are no longer fresh. It feels misleading and careless. The staff at the counter are rude and unhelpful, showing no respect or professionalism toward customers. This store clearly needs better management, proper cleaning, and staff training. Until that happens, I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere where quality and customers are valued.

Reasonable prices and neat and tidy store in Manor central next to coles. A range of fresh produce and fresh fruit juice is available. They also have a meat section and confirmed with the store member it's halal.
