We were on the hunt for an affordable floral option for our wedding and I discovered that The Posy Yard offered a DIY flowers option 💐 From start to finish, Kristi made sure we had the colours and textures we wanted, she helped us get a bucket of flowers to practice with, and then made it so easy on the week of the wedding. Everyone complimented the flowers, and I was able to walk down the aisle with a bouquet my husband had arranged which was so cool and unforgettable. One of my favourite parts of this was that the flowers were grown in Australia (rather than shipped in like most flowers) and I loved working with Kristi who was endlessly thoughtful and supportive! I can’t recommend the DIY flowers option enough!

We absolutely loved our wedding flowers from The Post Yard! We selected the FIY buckets with a custom colour palette and a small bouquet. Kristi was amazing to work with, and it was such a simple process. We loved creating our own look for the day with the beautiful flowers, they received so many compliments.

She was also super flexible with pick-up times, which was a huge help around the chaos of the big day. We ordered 4 diy buckets of flowers for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with the flowers! We ordered quite a few months in advance and Kristi was lovely enough to go through what would be blooming at the time and offered to plant colours we would use. We had so many comments from family and friends about how beautiful the flowers were, and they were so surprised to find out they were grown just down the road! The 4 buckets were enough to do 5 bouquets and over 30 well stacked vases throughout the venue. Would recommend to anyone, they were the perfect touch for our day!

Kristi was the most amazing person to work with and such a fantastic florist! From the moment I sent through my enquiry, up until the end of the night, she really went above and beyond to bring to life the vision that I had for our wedding. Kristi was incredibly communicative, ready to jump on the phone to nut out details and logistics, work out all the tricky bits and pieces for me to accommodate my ideas, and helped me to figure out how to keep things cost-effective and still have beautiful florals! The ceremony plinths she put together were exactly what I envisioned, and the centrepieces were so much more better than I could have imagined! Our bouquets were just the perfect touch as well. I could not recommend Kristi more as a wedding florist. As an aside, Kristi is also wonderful when it comes to supplying beautiful buckets of flowers that we could make Mother's Day bouquets with, or to have arrangements sitting on our kitchen bench 🙂 I most certainly will get my fresh florals from Kristi in future, whether for fun or for an event 🙂

We live locally near Kristi’s micro farm and really wanted to go with a small business who would provide us a personalised experience for our wedding. Kristi was so lovely, friendly and professional throughout the whole process and offered to meet with us to discuss ideas, provided mock ups and kept in contact with us to ensure her flowers would tie in with all the other elements of our decor and wedding. I showed Kristi my white wedding dress with red, pink and green embroidery and she created the most stunning bouquet that complimented my dress perfectly. Kristi created a beautiful ceremony feature for us that went perfectly with everything else, she also repurposed the flowers for our reception and added bud vases. She even came back at the end of the night to wrap up our flowers for us to take home. Everything Kristi created was so beautiful and we got so many compliments throughout the day!
