Heidis Flower Field
Address stands out as a charming and welcoming florist-café hybrid in Australia, blending aesthetic appeal with a relaxed atmosphere. The cozy decor and attentive service create an inviting space, where staff often go above and beyond—whether assisting busy families or ensuring a smooth experience even during staff shortages. Their offerings range from classic floral arrangements to refreshingly crafted beverages, with particular highlights in their high-quality coffee and tea selections.
While the seasonal menu delivers standout items like artisanal scones and creative milkshakes, occasional inconsistencies in specialty drinks or savory dishes suggest room for refinement. Ideal for a leisurely visit, the café balances warmth and professionalism, making it a reliable choice for both floral needs and a delightful break.

We attended for high tea and found out they were short a staff member today and there was a new staff member running off her feet. The decor was cute-sie and the scones were warm and soft but topped with what appeared to be canned whipped cream. Savory dishes were decent but the chicken sandwich was not enjoyed. Coffee and tea were stellar, but the cold juice and the "champagne" (of which we were given moscato rose) were not up to scratch. Overall, the experience was not similar to other high teas for the price point but I'd come back for coffee alone.
Heidi's Flower Field (the happiness club!) is so good that I drive 4 hours to go to it, enjoying breakfast and then back again for lunch. Everything e.g the menu, the cheerful faces/laughter & the food is the WOW factor! The only downside is that my love affair with my 'former' favorite' cafe is now over. Can't wait to try the Gingerbread milkshake on my next visit!
Heidi’s flower field was recommended to me by a friend and I was so glad I came to check it out! Immediately greeted as we stepped in the doors by the lovely staff! The food and drinks were all excellent and the cafe has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely come back here!
Talk about service with a smile! Not from the area, I was struggling my way down Byng St, looking for a cafe and was standing outside wondering if I should grace myself upon them with my pram, toddler and crying baby when the most lovely lady opened the door and helped me inside. It's a very lovely cafe/florist, decorated beautifully with a gorgeous courtyard out the back and a basket of toys and rack of books for the kids - perfect! They also have a change table which is a definite bonus for those with little ones and are very kid friendly. Delicious and reasonably priced coffee - only negative was that the babycino was $3 (I think everywhere is charging more for babycinos these days though) and the cakes were a little pricey so we stuck with the coffees. The brunch menu looked delicious but we were just popping in for coffees. Heaps of gluten free options though, so I am very tempted to go back again and try some! Walked outside again afterwards to see a sign "you're so loved" which is exactly how I felt walking out of there. Thank you!
Not happy with our brunch here. We came previously in September and loved it and were so excited to return, however when we did it was bitterly disappointing. I ordered the grilled haloumi and avo croissant, the croissant itself was stale and boring and the haloumi was barely grilled just very rubbery. My partner ordered a side of crispy bacon which was rare at best with more fat than meat, the toast was undercooked, essentially just a slice of bread. It's the cutest place to look at and be in however we won't be coming back.
Awesome service, great coffee and wonderful food. Heidi is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. In my opinion they have the best coffee in town!
Popped in for breakfast and storytime (10am Thursday). My twins had the "very hungry caterpillar" plate, with a sausage, some strawberries and apple, a muffin and a lamington. I had the banana bread french toast, and it was delicious! Storytime was great, and it is a really welcoming for little kids, making mess and playing with toys and colouring in.
