Had a great experience in this shop today. I have a child with autism who was non verbal and was having a bit of a moment to say the least. One of the staff I dont know his name, taller guy with glasses asked if we were okay and if there was anything he could do to help which was really kind of him so I had to share !

When collecting our winnings from Gold Lotto the young man took the money out of the register and folded the notes in half and handed it to me. On checking the amount I noted that it was short by eleven dollars. I advised him that it was short and he apologised and stated that he forgot the $10.00 note and immediately retrieved it from the register. I again informed him that it was still short. He looked at me and went ah ah how? I informed him of the prize amount and he then noticed that the $1.00 coin was missing and then again retrieved the extra money from the register. One mistake I could accept, but two and obviously he was trying to "rip me off ". I may be nearing 80 but I am not a fool. My advice is for the elderly, don’t trust them. Check your change! Don’t let them think that just because you are of advanced years that you are fair game to rip off.

A young retail assistant at this Newsagent after I'd bought a lotto ticket was very weirdly rude to me saying "bye", "goodbye" repeatedly as I walked away.. I'm not sure whether it was some sort of "quirky" sense of humour she has - but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would view that as rude- and I'm totally perplexed as to WHY she would behave and speak to a REGULAR CUSTOMER in that way. Very disappointed.

A large array of products available with friendly, helpful staff who are happy to assist you in finding what you are looking for. Since Valentine's Day is coming up, there is a large range of cards and gifts for your loved ones too. Definitely worth a look!!!

This is a state of the art newsagent, the variety of top quality products available there for yourself, or as gifts is delightful. I always call in to check out new products and make purchases along with papers, magazines and lotto tickets. Totally recommend a visit if your at the Maroochydore Plaza. Jennifer

Great variety of magazines, cards and gift ideas. I wish it wasn't so closely packed though. It was hard to move around and pick up items to see. Wonderful welcoming staff.
