Mishra's Kitchen Yarraville

Had dinner with my wife and daughter last week and we loved it! So happy to have a fantastic Indian restaurant in our neighbourhood. Service was very warm and friendly and the curries were delicious. Paneer entree really yummy too. My daughter loved the mango lassi and we really appreciated the kulfi which was brought out on the house. So yummy. We will be back soon!

This was my first time we had food from here.Had the worst experience. My husband butter naan and when the order was delivered there was no butter on a single naan. And then the naan did not even taste as if they had been cooked there it tasted like ready to eat ones and it was just like as if the naans were warmed in microwave and not even cooked properly. Would never again order when i started eating my first question was where and what did you order as order did not taste what we ordered. I did not even feel like giving one star to this place but shocked to see how this place has so many good reviews. Very bad quality of what we were delivered.

Great food and ambience created by Chef and owner Sanjeev Mishra. No colour in food, no/less oil used in all the dishes. They recommend food as well to match your taste palette. Recommended for authentic north Indian food.

NEW NEWS - Mishra’s has opened a new (and second) restaurant at 23 Vernon St South Kingsville - just tried it out - wonderful vibe in a great location and space. Wow wow wow - such incredible and authentic Indian! We've just moved into the area and have found the most amazing Indian restaurant in Mishra's. Warm welcome from Nisha who explained the menu including the chef's specialty of goat. We ordered the goat curry and a chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan. Both dishes were absolutely sensational - authentic, great tasting, perfect amount of heat. Looking forward to going back again and again. BYO wine. And wonderful to see a steady stream of takeaway on a Monday night.

I tried the mutton curry with naan bread, and it was delicious. The mutton was tender and flavorful, and the naan was soft and fresh. I also tried their dessert, which was sweet and tasty. Overall, it was a great experience.

Mishra’s Kitchen Amazing food with very tasty, full-flavoured curries. The naan is always fresh and soft. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
