Alfa. Yarraville

Extending out the back, nestled under leafy shade in the heart of Yarraville, Alfa Café delivers a vibrant mix of comfort, creativity, and community charm. Their oatmeal bowl is a standout—creamy, beautifully plated with stewed fruit, pistachios, chia pudding, and edible flowers - but not for me. For something indulgent, the pancake stack topped with vanilla ice cream, berry compote, and granola is pure weekend bliss. And if you’re after a savoury hit, the eggs Benedict—served on crisp hash browns with bacon and microgreens—is rich, balanced, and satisfying without being heavy. The iced coffee and peachy juice are refreshing companions to a sunny brunch. Although the iced coffee was somewhat bitter & needed an addition of sugar.

Lovely cafe located right next to Yarraville station! Highlights for us were the Apple Pie Pancakes and the housemade Hashbrown Benny. The counter had a delicious looking range of sweets, would highly reccomend if you’re looking for a good spot for brunch ⭐️🥹

There is something genuinely special about the atmosphere here, sitting under the trees by the station creates a unique, tranquil vibe that’s hard to find. The venue presents itself with a curated trendy aesthetic. Unfortunately, and surprisingly that didn’t translate to the coffee. My latte had too much foam and was a little cold which was disappointing for a $6 cup. The staff, however, are lovely and friendly. I’m hopeful this was just an off day, as the setting itself is worth a return visit.

Excellent big breakfast great coffee. Really good value for $25 the eggs were cooked perfect so was the bacon. Great rosti type hash brown

Amazing cafe. I got the pancakes and they were the best pancakes ive ever had. The service took around 8 minutes but it did not feel that way. The atmosphere was also amazing we went under the shaded leaves and it was nice. 10/10 Would recommend.

Gorgeous expansive outdoor dog friendly area right next to the station. Eggs Atlantic was delicious (home-made hashbrowns are a stand-out - generous, crispy on the outside, fluffy and tender on the inside). Lots of juice options in generous sizes
