Amazing Flavors, Fantastic Service, and Incredible Bakery Items at Island Tastes! Island Tastes in Liverpool is an absolute gem! I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed. Their cream buns are heavenly – perfectly soft and just the right amount of sweet. The long loaf was also a standout, fresh and delicious. And let's talk about the tea cake – it was absolutely amazing! A definite highlight and something you must try. For something savory, I highly recommend their roti and lamb curry. The curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, and the roti was the ideal accompaniment. Beyond the incredible food, the experience was made even better by their truly amazing PR work. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming, making me feel right at home. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend Island Tastes and will definitely be going back frequently to try more of their dishes. If you're looking for authentic flavors, incredible baked goods, and a wonderfully pleasant dining experience, this is the place to go!

We had ordered 8 lamb flaps ($24) which was the only decent thing we had. Lamb curry ($15) which the sauce was runny more watery than anything and there was more bone than meat and very tasteless for a Fijian curry… keyword spices and salt. Lamb rourou ($20) was so tasteless and for $20 in the container we got that is ridiculous. The rourou was watery and the lamb inside was spotted white just take a look at the photo! 1 fish miti $25 the fish was not cleaned properly that is a No no!! Miti was flavourless and chutney ($6) 2 large rice ($10) total came to a total of $100. This is not my first time here the last two times we ordered lovo and I had gotten so sick I refused to want to go back but we thought give them another go. Well weren’t we wrong. This is NOT a good representation of Fijian food. Please do better!

Lovely Fijian restaurant. Brings back memories from back home. Pate the owner is very friendly and welcoming. My favourite is the cream buns and fish lolo (fish in coconut milk). Can’t go past the chicken curry with roti and chowmein with dalo. They also do weekend lovo packs in the weekends. Highly recommended for a Fijian cuisine.

This place exists, just had an amazing meal with my Wife and we'll be back for more. Definitely made with Love, had their chicken curry with Roti, Lovo, palusami was just like home, the wife moved the fried fish in coconut cream, I had the raw fish, cassava all amazing. Grabbed lamb curry to go, no hesitation to recommend this place, if you're looking to try and haven't sampled, you're in for an awesome culinary surprise.

I was overly excited about their food but unfortunately my excitement turned to dismay when I tasted the lovo and the cream bun! $50 lovo pack is a bargain however the chicken tasted like boiled and the lamb ribs drowned in some kinda sauce which was barely edible! Couldn’t possibly be Lovo for sure!! Never tasted the other items that came in the pack as it left a bad taste! Cream buns, this was interesting!! How is this Fiji cream bun is beyond me. I would like to always support my Fijian brothers and sisters but not if it’s such awful food! Maybe stick to roti and curry guys I think that’s not so bad😊😊😊
