Went here for dessert today and it’s clearly a local favourite — there was a long queue and the place was buzzing. I tried the Hokkaido milk soft serve, which was incredible: so fresh, creamy, and just like what I had in Hokkaido. I also ordered the iced matcha, which had the perfect balance of sweetness and earthiness — so refreshing on a warm day. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re nearby!
Was passing through and noticed it was pretty busy inside and with people eating so decided to try it out. Was going to go the sushi option but then saw the magic words "Fired Chicken" 🤤 Opted to go the Korean Fired Chicken burger for my maiden voyage and damn was bloody delicious burger. Soft, tender, juicy and that was just how I was feeling as I chomped Amy way through this thing of beauty. Will be back again to try more items from their menu, so damn good 👏🏻
Popular cafe with schoolies and their guardians and local office workers. Check out their health conscious menu on the wall on top and beside the hot bar. Poke bowls are tasty. Often seen parents/guardians quickly grabbed sushi and readily prepped sandwiches, fritters, smoothies, snacks and corn dog on daily basis. Would be a perfect hang out premise if only more spaces are availed but such is Wahroonga's cafe scenes, first in best dressed or visit on off peaked hours. Train station is mere 3 mins away, somewhat hard to find parking and especially so when visit is around school time zones. This is a busy and very popular spot in the area and tables are often greasy from the traffic.. bring own sanitizer rather than wait for staffs to clean after us.
Missing Spoon is a true local favourite that keeps delivering the goods. The mix of Korean and Japanese flavours makes the menu both exciting and comforting—there’s something for every craving. From the fresh, well-balanced poke bowls to the nostalgic Korean toast, every bite feels thoughtful and satisfying. It’s casual, welcoming, and conveniently located, making it an easy choice for lunch on the go or a relaxed sit-down bite. The iced matcha is a standout if you’re after a refreshing drink. With friendly service and plenty of options—from dumplings to sushi—it’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself coming back to regularly.
I’m not sure if they changed owners but I’ve coming here for years and I always get the iced matcha. It seems like they wanted to cut costs, the Matcha was horrible and a pale green colour. It used to be ceremonial… When I asked she charged me extra to put actual good quality matcha. Don’t recommend.
I have been here plenty of times and every time they manage to please me. My personal favourite would be the iced matcha. They have a wide range of sushi and all taste quite fresh and delicious. It is close to the train station and plenty of schools making it a fantastic pit stop for students however therefore busier during after school and before school hours. Would definitely recommend!
Popped in for drink/cake but tempted by bacon roll. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Great drink/food. Highly recommend
