Riviera Resort Hervey Bay

Location good. Rooms dated. Pool nice but spa and sauna not working while we were here. Could smell smokers when on our balcony. Security was good. Always felt safe.

Best place to stay in Hervey Bay ! ALL rooms face the ocean, not the building next door, and have balconies front and back allowing a cool breeze to flow through. The best eating and dining locations are only a short walk in either direction up the Esplanade or you can eat at the on site restaurant. Cross the street to be on the magnificent beach to watch the sunset. The entire site is clean and well maintained.

We’ve lost count of the number of trips we’ve made to the Riviera, and each year is better than the last. The facilities are spotless and beautifully kept, the pool and spa are fabulous, it’s right over the road from the best swimming beach in Hervey Bay and Tor and Yumei just can’t do enough for you. Our kids have gone from toddlers to pre-teens here and they still love the place - and so do we. First class!

Big apartment that has been renovated in living area which are lovely & modern. Great balcony. But bedrooms very small & bathrooms still very old. Extremely clean though. Pool area was great.

Nice size rooms, large tv in lounge and main bedroom. Big kitchen with most of the basics. Really good king size bed. Good shower & towels. Access to pool if wanted. Key card access to elevator and room. Restaurant on ground floor is great & privately owned.

We enjoyed a relaxing four night stay at the Riviera. The reception team were great - very friendly and helpful. Our apartment was lovely and clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. And we also appreciated that all utensils, crockery etc in the kitchen was clean and spotless. The resort is in a perfect location - close to great restaurants and across the road is the beach.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at the Riviera. We booked through the resort website so were entitled to airport transfers which was a great bonus. The apartments are big and well appointed but a little dated, which didnt worry us too much. Perhaps a little far from the Marina as it wasnt within walking distance but otherwise their is little to fault.
