Totally Baked

We just stopped for coffee and a nibble on our way west. Staff were lovely, coffee was perfect and the Baked Cheesecake, delightful. Thank you.

Delicious and they reheat if you need just for you

I’m shocked that no cafes in Toowoomba make sandwiches on grain bread. It’s not just myself either, but dietary restrictions prevent me to eat white bread. Firstly she didn’t acknowledge we were there, busy or not it is polite to say ‘won’t be long’. Manners have gone out the window. As I was asking the female employee, she was rude and dismissive when I was just asked a question about the grain bread situation. I clearly said I’m not complaining I was trying to understand why cafes have stopped. It was clearly obvious she was not listening to me or want anything to do with the conversation I was trying to have. She spoke over me, shut me up, and didn’t offer any opinions on anything else. Her replies were it’s not my decision, I have nothing to do with it? So it was clear to me she wasn’t going to be helpful, wasn’t acknowledged my problem and offer any solutions. Her attitude was like she was too good to be working there and personally I don’t think she should as she hasn’t got people skills at all, or sales techniques, not fit for hospital. In the end I said "it’s clear you are not going to listen and I walked away."

Caramel milkshake had virtually no caramel in it. I had to ask for more which was provided but it wasn’t mixed again, so it sat at the bottom of the cup. Carrot cake was dry and unappetising.

We repaired the refrigerator. A Date-slice was waiting for the technician when he arrived. Great coffee as well. Darling Downs Refrigeration

Passing through Toowoomba, stopped by to enjoy a great coffee and fresh muffin together with friendly and efficient service. Also seems very popular with the locals, definitely recommended
