I’m opening a new café and was looking to save some money by purchasing some equipment second-hand. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Hanna from KEA. The website was easy to navigate, with clear descriptions and honest photos of the equipment — no surprises when it arrived. Hanna even texted me additional photos so I could feel confident about my purchases, and everything was exactly as advertised and in excellent condition. Hanna responded to my original website inquiry almost immediately with a phone call and was responsive, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my (many) questions before I committed to purchasing. He even steered me away from equipment he knew doesn’t hold up well, which I really appreciated. Delivery was smooth and well-coordinated, and everything was packaged securely. Buying used can sometimes feel risky, but this experience felt transparent and professional the whole way through. Great value for money and a sustainable way to fit out a kitchen. I’ll definitely be back for future purchases.

Mishka’s Cafe in Aireys Inlet Great Ocean Rd Victoria, had a 15 year old cake display refrigerator that failed 3 days before Christmas coming in to our busiest trading period of the year. Enquiries for a new replacement led us to Kitchen Equipment Australia who sourced a brand new Anvil display fridge at a competing price and even though it was only a few days before Christmas Day they managed to get one down from Sydney overnight where all other retailers were unable to supply. We confirmed the order on the 22nd December and picked the unit up the following afternoon. We are now set to trade for the holiday rush beginning Boxing Day. Great service KEA, no hesitation in recommending you to others and will definitely contact you for any further equipment purchases in future.

Contacted KEA for an American made tomato wedger and they had the item in stock. Product was delivered in 2 days after payment which was super fast and appreciated. We paid for equipment and cant even get an ETA on when its being shipped. Meanwhile, after already paying for our order, we're getting sales calls. This business is all sales and no service. Avoid.

Working as a not-for-profit remodeling our kitchen we found these to be the best priced second-hand commercial dishwashers by far. We appreciated their flexibility in refunding us the 50% deposit we put down, particularly because we're a not-for-profit. [The only reason we requested the refund is that the manufacturer (Norris) offered is a huge discount on a new machine.] Were that not to have happened, we would have been happy to buy from KEA.
