Baba Sweets Thomastown

We ordered chole bhature and amritsari kulcha and everything tasted really nice. It was perfect amount of spicy. We also got a Chass to go with it and everything was soo good together. Would definitely try some other dishes next time

Worst worst worst worst worst !… tiffin ever of my life .. pani wala khana to be more honest .. if you love your hard earned money,, don’t ever go there.. lady on reception so rude

We visited Givind Sweet today at the Thomastown location. The food was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. While we were eating, a staff member started cleaning the restaurant using a strong cleaning detergent, which was uncomfortable. The staff member was also rude and told us to remove our feet from the footrest as she already cleaned it before, even though it is meant to be used by customers. The food was great, but the service negatively affected our experience.

I had a really bad experience at Baba Sweet. Even after calling before arriving, the staff made me wait for 30 minutes. The food is good, but the staff really need to improve their customer service. They don’t know how to speak to customers respectfully, especially when we are paying for the service. Very disappointing.

I recently visited Baba Sweets in Thomastown and had a mixed experience. The samosa was one of the best I've had in Melbourne—fresh and not oily at all. The jalebi was perfect, with a balanced sweetness and great taste, though it was served cold. The brown cham cham was okay, but the pink one had a bit of a sour taste. The tea was pretty average and didn't meet my expectations. The mix pakoras were a bit of a letdown as they didn't contain any potato; instead, they were cauliflower coated with besan and spinach, more like gobi pakora. They are not that expensive, which is good, but do check, as the prices on their menu are not updated. Despite some of the downsides, I highly recommend Baba Sweets Thomastown for their samosa and jalebi.
