I recently placed a puja thali order with Apur Rannaghor for 20 people, and every single item was absolutely superb. The food was delicious and prepared with so much care. Her baked rosogolla deserves a special mention—it is extremely popular in our group, so much so that every family went on to place their own order from her, with baked rosogolla being a must-have each time. The vegetable chop was equally delightful and truly brought back the authentic taste of Kolkata. A few months earlier, I had also ordered food from her for my son’s rice ceremony for around 50 people. Once again, the experience was exceptional. Each dish tasted mind-blowing, including the Kolkata-style mutton kosha, bhetki paturi, echorer dalna, gurer rosogolla, and chhana roll. Every item reflected authenticity, rich flavours, and perfection. Beyond the divine taste of her food, Mousumi’s behaviour truly sets her apart. She is extremely cooperative, humble, polite, and friendly. Her warm approach and professionalism have impressed everyone who has ordered from her. I highly recommend Apur Rannaghor to anyone in Melbourne who is craving authentic, soulful Bengali food. Truly a wonderful experience every time.

Our tryst with Apur Rannaghor started around 6 yeas ago. We moved into the Western suburbs and were searching for food that brings the taste of India, specially Bengali food. We just fell in love with the Kolkata Style Biriyani (succulent and sumptuous mutton and chicken and not to forget the signature "potato piece" with it). Apur Rannaghor also created and has evolved as experts in the signature Bengali Sweets. You have to taste to believe , how close it is to the rosogolla, sondesh and misti doi, we get in Bengal! We, as a family flourish on the Thalis , Apur Rannaghor prepares, be it Mughlai, Indo Chinese, North Indian delicacies or "plain old Bengali comfort food" - a pan India food fest, be it Non Vegetarian or Vegetarian delicacies. Apur Rannaghor has also catered on various occassions we had in our house or function halls-be it a group of 10 or 50 friends and families- they have ensured same taste, warmth and professionalism. I will also rate Apur Rannaghor high for their quality, hygiene, aesthetics and timely delivery. I am happy we are a 5 minute drive from this "gastronomical landmark" called Apur Rannaghor. I ordered food from Apur Rannaghar, and the food was absolutely amazing. The goat curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the Doi Mach had a beautiful balance of spices and a creamy texture. The Dhokar Dalna was authentic and comforting, just like home-style Bengali cooking. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared.
